About this property
A Natural Gem: A peaceful country home surrounded by stunning natural beauty
Welcome to Lille Lyng! Our peaceful country house, nestled amid stunning natural surroundings and featuring unique amenities: Our beautiful farmhouse is surrounded by forests and overlooks its own wild meadow. The three bedrooms can accommodate 5–6 people. The high-quality kitchen (including a dishwasher) is perfect for cooking. When the weather is nice, we recommend the wind-protected courtyard. The house features its own well, solar panels, heat pump heating, a wood-burning stove, a washing machine, and a dishwasher.
The accommodation Our natural gem: Our “Lille Lyng” is situated in the most beautiful surroundings, featuring deep forests, open meadows, rocky outcrops, forest lakes, and chanterelle mushrooms. Every window in the house offers a magnificent view. The Bodilsker Plantation forms a beautiful protective ring around the house and the meadows, creating the characteristic horizon line of spruce trees. The Bodilsker Plantation extends on to the Ølene bird sanctuary and out into Almindingen.
The old farmhouse sits on a 9,000-square-meter property and consists of three buildings that form an idyllic courtyard. The main house was modernised and renovated in 2021. White Douglas fir floorboards throughout, a cosy mix of antique and modern furniture, a warm wood-burning stove—and views of the greenery from every room.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, a convection oven, a gas stove, a large refrigerator, and a freezer. A small breakfast nook is perfect for relaxing. The water comes from the property’s own well, and a modern central heating system (heat pump) keeps the house comfortably warm even on colder days.
Three bedrooms accommodate up to five people: a large bedroom with a double bed (2 x 90 cm), a small desk, and a large antique wardrobe. A cosy bedroom with a large bed (1.60 cm). A children’s room with a bunk bed (1.60 cm and 90 cm).
Outside, you’ll find a beautiful old country garden with fruit trees, perennials, and a large, lovely European beech tree. There are fragrant roses and a south-facing lawn. The cosy courtyard is surrounded by the main house, an older, charming half-timbered stable, and a small barn. These two old buildings are not (yet) available as living space.
