As a property that is family owned and run, we thank you for your thoughtful feedback and we are glad you enjoyed our communication, the home’s layout, space and the pool. We’re sorry that some maintenance concerns affected your stay. We take your comments seriously and like we mentioned in our texting communication upon your departure we immediately treated the issue with the drain flies. Again, we apologize for that. We have also addressed the yard and pool ladder. We are confused as to what the problem with the downstairs mattress is, as it is a brand new mattress. When choosing mattresses for our guests, we tried to accommodate the sleeping preferences of most sleepers but mattress firmness is ultimately a personal preference. We are sorry this mattress was not within your preference. For clarity, during your stay we let you know that additional paper towels were available in either the laundry room or the kitchenette. Upon servicing the house, there were still additional paper towels available for your family’s use on the countertop located in these areas. Hand towels were provided for each guest in the bathrooms with additional hand towels on the open shelf in the laundry room. There was a hair dryer in the master bathroom drawer and as for the ice, we did have a bag of ice in the freezer for your stay. We always want guests to feel comfortable reaching out so we can help locate any supplies during their stay.
