We scheduled our stay to attend the Hershey RV show. We were supposed to check in on Thursday, but a family emergency delayed our visit until Saturday. We spoke to Nate on the phone and he was extremely helpful. The instructions for contacting a live person were spot on. We had to leave a message and he called us back within the hour. After explaining our situation he was more than accommodating to us. We salvaged our long weekend and had a comfortable night. The hot tub was a welcome relief after walking around climbing in RVs all day. The place was spotless. The driveway was a little hard to spot in the dark but there is a road sign so that helps. Google maps found the place easily, and it's an easy 30 minute drive from Hershey. It's quiet and tranquil. The bed is comfortable and clean. The place is simple but comfort doesn't need frills and comfort is the focus here. There's no TV, which suited us fine but if you need something bring your tablet or laptop. We stayed only one night out of our original 3 but I would definitely book it again. It's a shame that there are so few reviews but they leave well deserved comments. If you want a slow paced, quiet stay next to a creek this is your place.
This is a modest little cottage on a beautiful creek. The host went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and safe. We were in the area to help a family member with some home renovations. This was a perfect little retreat after a hard days work. And we were grateful that we could have our dog with us. Thank you!
