Cute cabin on a gorgeous lake. Had s’mores in the firepit on the shore while the loons were calling- perfect!

We had a nice and relaxing stay here! The cabin was exceptionally clean and had everything you need for your stay. There were just 2 of us and this was a perfect choice. Great view and the water was so clear. Perfect all around.Especially enjoyed the rock art along the path!

Clean, comfortable, and everything needed for the two of us. Brandon was very quick to respond when we had a couple of questions. Too cold in May for swimming but there is a very nice gradual entry to the lake for those visiting in the summer. The cabin is right on the water with big windows so there is beautiful unobstructed view of Embden from inside as well as the small deck.

Uniquely perfect cabin on Embdon Pond (really a large lake - it is a Maine thing calling it a pond): - Perfectly situated for privacy (there are other cabins nearby but felt like we were only ones at the lake.)- Eastern view of sunrise/moonrise; - Fire pit on the water for one-of-a-kind atmosphere (with dry pre-cut wood ready);- Nice paddle boards, kayaks and ski-vests provided;- Clean new grill with two tanks at the ready; - Pull-down large screen projector for movies at night with cozy couch.Great stay - also recommend the following while in the area: - 201 Powersports for ATV trail riding rental (Bingham); - Wings, Woods, Waters (look up on internet) for float plane sight seeing (Jackman); - Stanley Museum for a unique car/history museum (Kingfield); - Kennebec Brewery for pub sports/food/beer - great photo history of the area on the walls (West Forks). - Moxie Falls for easy hike (some stairs) to great waterfall (West Forks - look for parking area on left - Apple Maps was off a bit and had us parking on side of the road).Great Stay - love Maine in the fall . . .
