During beach chair season, weather permitting, a beach chair is available to you free of charge on the fine-sand Baltic Sea beach from 15.05.2026 - 15.09.2026.

Location

The holiday rental is located in the heart of Travemünde: when you step outside, you’re right in the pedestrian zone, surrounded by numerous boutiques, cafés, and restaurants. Here, you can enjoy a cappuccino while watching the hustle and bustle on the waterfront and the ships on the Trave River. The view over the rooftops of Travemünde’s old town is also unforgettable! And yet, the holiday rental offers a quiet retreat after an eventful day of holiday. The wide, fine-sand Baltic Sea beach is just a ten-minute walk away.

Living Space

The modern, light-filled holiday rental spans two levels. The large living area, featuring an open kitchen and high ceilings, forms the heart of this apartment. The cosy sofa area is perfect for snuggling up for film nights and is adjacent to the spacious dining area for four people, which is separated by an open half-timbered structure serving as a room divider. Right next to it is the modern kitchenette, equipped with high-quality appliances. The spacious, stylish bathroom is also located on the lower level of the holiday apartment. This is a paradise for wellness enthusiasts: in addition to the large, walk-in Raindance shower, there is an infrared combination sauna with a radio for one to two people. From the open living area, you have access to one of the bedrooms (1.80-meter-wide box-spring bed), which includes a walk-in closet and an en suite bathroom (toilet, sink, towel warmer, and washer-dryer). From the entryway, a fairly steep and narrow spiral staircase leads to the upper floor, which offers two additional sleeping areas: two single beds (each 0.90 wide) are fitted into the sloped ceiling. Through the window, you can see into the living area below from this loft-style bedroom. In case work calls during your holiday, there’s a desk with an office chair here. Caution: the steep staircase is not suitable for small children, who could slip through the railing! We therefore recommend this apartment for children ages 8 and up. Due to the history of the old house, the staircase leading to the first-floor apartment is somewhat difficult to navigate. In the building’s courtyard, there’s a cosy seating area—the perfect spot to wind down at the end of the day.

Entertainment

Entertainment is well taken care of here. Both flat-screen TVs feature smart functionality, and Wi-Fi access and a Bluetooth speaker are also included.

Design & Style

The 73 m² apartment spans two levels and is furnished to a high standard with great attention to detail. This half-timbered house has its own unique charm and history, allowing you to feel directly connected to the historic identity of the seaside resort of Travemünde. Thanks to the modern furnishings in a natural Nordic style and the well-thought-out design, comfort is always a top priority! Fresh pops of colour, colourful tiles, and comfortable seating create a one-of-a-kind atmosphere.

Parking & Bicycles

A reserved parking space is available on Voigteistraße next to the harbour train station (approx. 500 metres away). There is bicycle storage in the building’s courtyard.
