The Cabin was amazing, accommodating and access to the lake front beach was about as good as you could get. It was extremely close to downtown and Ponderosa State Park trails. The only issue was the neighbor's property was extremely close and the neighbors had motion-activated strobe/high pitched sound devices (with no trespassing signs) that were feet from the property's deck and prevented us from spending any time out there. Any motion on our deck tripped the devices to flash strobes and high pitched noise at us. If I were to book this property in the future I would want to ensure the devices would be disabled when you stay there. It was quite unpleasant anytime we were on the deck. Other than that, the property was fantastic.

The location was definitely the highlight—one of the best parts of our stay and very convenient to everything in McCall. The home is a little old-school and dated, but for the price, we felt it was a good value.The beach and dock are shared among several owners, which is worth knowing in advance. One of the owners was incredibly friendly and welcoming—his nephew owns this particular rental. Another owner was much more territorial about the shared space, which made things a little uncomfortable at times. There was also a large family reunion that occupied most of the beach and dock each day, so we didn’t get to enjoy those amenities as much as we had hoped. That was likely just unfortunate timing.Overall, it was a solid stay in a primo location, especially for the price.
