We had an excellent experience at this cabin. It was very clean and the furniture was super comfortable. We really appreciated the movie room and the extra blankets set up on there and the living room.

We ended up enjoying our time here after a couple hiccups.

The cabin is beautiful and stocked with plenty of extra towels, pillows, and toiletries. We really enjoyed the outdoor fireplace.

A wonderful, relaxing retreat

Very thoughtfully built property and clean. Kitchen was well equipped with all basic seasonings needed which made cooking easy and enjoyable. They were quick to communicate during the stay if we needed anything or had any questions. There is some construction going on near by so if you're sitting outdoors, you may hear some construction noise. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.

Great property!

The property was beautiful, clean and very welcoming. The 3 primary bedrooms with an additional 1/2 bath was perfect for our 3 couples traveling together. Our only small complaint that isn't even a complaint, was that the kitchen could be a little better stocked with kitchen towels/dishrags and maybe some bigger pans for cooking for groups, but we made it work easily!

This was a great quick trip for us! The inside of the cabin was immaculate! There was some litter around the outside, but not a big deal. The smell, the look and just the feeling of walking in the cabin door was so cozy and relaxing. We all loved the firepit! It was really the main attraction, as well as the theater. The kids enjoyed being in there snuggled up a lot of the time! There was some construction taking place, that took away from the peace, but that was beyond anyone’s control. Thanks for the stay!

Excellent rental cabin in great location for Hocking Hills

Cabin was great for five guests & one overnight visitor. All rooms were wee-equipped with fixtures & towels. The hot tub was also a nice extra. Only complaint was the relatively warm loft & cool lower level (balanced temperatures would improve comfort), although fans helped.

I would have nothing but wonderful things to say about my stay. However, we had a negative experience with the customer service department because of an issue we had with the hot tub. Our group specifically chose this location because of the hot tub. When we arrived, the hot tub was at 91. I immediately contacted the host via Vrbo messaging and was given suggestions multiple times on how to fix the issue. Unfortunately, their suggestions did not work, and the hot tub only increased to 95. They sent out a young gentleman to diagnose the issue to which he said this was not something he could fix, but he would tell someone else what he found. After that we were told someone else would be dispatched and we never saw anyone else. We were also given the same suggestions to continue increasing the hot tub temperature and again none of them worked. The last night of our 4 night stay we used a very large pot that we brought ourselves to use for a crab boil and boiled water using our own gas and dumped it into the hot tub. That did increase the temperature to 102. The company refunded us 100 for our troubles and send us on our way. Love the house but would not stay at another house managed by this company. Unfortunate since our group uses VRBO homes at least once a year for large vacations rentals.

Knotty Summit was excellent! We loved the Hocking Hills area and the hiking was beautiful! The cabin had everything we could need, we didn’t want to leave! We loved all of the amenities at the house-the theatre, outdoor dining and fireplace-the hot tub and the well appointed kitchen. It was perfect for our family gathering. We would love to stay there again.
