Welcome home!<br><br>There are many holiday homes around the world, but if you’re looking for something extraordinary, Dean Lake Cottage in Canada is the place for you. <br><br>Furnished with great attention to detail, in a secluded location right on a lake, and with its unique architecture, it’s certainly the perfect place to relax and unwind. Your holiday can begin right at home.<br><br>The Dean Lake Cottage, spanning over 180 m² and featuring a southwestern country style, stands out above all for its high level of functionality and well-thought-out layout. The comprehensive amenities are top-notch (including a whirlpool tub, Miele washing machine and dryer, two LCD TVs with satellite TV, a DVD player, a microwave, a dishwasher, a Weber grill, a KitchenAid, a canoe, and a kayak, etc.).<br><br>The house has a total of three bedrooms, two living rooms, and a large terrace spread over two floors. In the comfortable, open-concept living-dining-kitchen area on the ground floor, there is a wood-burning stove for the colder seasons. The second living room, located on the ground floor, features a large LCD TV and a Dolby Surround sound system. <br><br>A definite highlight is the 90 m² terrace, which wraps around the house on three sides and is largely covered. This means you have direct access to the terrace and a view of the lake from a total of 5 rooms on the ground floor. <br><br>Another unique feature is the walkway that leads directly from the terrace to the lake. A deck has been built right by the water. Ceiling fans have been installed in some rooms for hot days. Canoes, kayaks, charcoal grills, bicycles, fishing gear, and a comprehensive guidebook with plenty of information and dining recommendations are available free of charge. You can set out on many activities right from the house (see Page 10). Our guests really appreciate the many trails and seating areas. The sunsets on the Sunset Trail are unforgettable.<br><br>You can start many activities right from the house. There’s plenty to discover on the large property and in the immediate vicinity.<br><br>WALKS<br>In total, there are nearly 3 km of private trails on the property. Explore the area.<br><br>FISHING<br>There are plenty of fishing opportunities here. Be sure to obtain a fishing licence in advance. “Fishing Licence” B. in Caledonia.<br><br>SHORT HIKE (about 4 km)<br>Walk along “Bayview Road” to Moosepit Road, and from there, return to the house.<br><br>SHORT HIKE (10 km)<br>Walk to the Medway Rapids in New Albany.<br><br>LONG HIKE AROUND LAKE TUPPER (14 km)<br>A scenic trail around Lake Tupper. Enjoy nature. Halfway along the trail, there’s a picnic bench and public access to the lake for swimming. Take a break before continuing on the rest of the trail.<br><br>Kayaking and Canoeing<br>Explore Lake Dean and Lake McGowan by kayak and canoe. In total, four lakes are connected and accessible directly from the house.<br>TIP: Go kayaking and canoeing on the private island belonging to the property. A large, comfortable picnic table invites you to linger here. <br><br>SWIMMING<br>Dean Lake offers plenty of great spots for swimming. <br><br>EVENINGS AND NIGHTS<br>Settle in comfortably at home and gaze at the starry sky.
