The zoo passes were great for the family!!! Lovely hosts comfortable rooms. If you aren't used to Seattle street parking prepare yourself but can't beat the location. House is fully equipped for dogs and people and considerations for the littles. Would stay here again.
Property is very charming and quiet. Check in and check out we're a breeze with great communication. House is well stocked and nicely located , not a far walk to restaurants, bars and shops. Overall a great stay!
We loved this quiet, charming property. Both the inside and outside spaces were clean, well stocked, and provided a relaxing getaway for us and our dog.
This is an absolute gem in North Seattle! So cute, comfy and so easy to get in and out of - we loved staying here. The house was so cozy and great space for us and our 3 kids. Highly recommend!

The front room is quaint, the property manager is responsive, and the sleeping spaces are in the dank, smelly basement. The bed pillows are the same throughout: heavy, blocky and lumpy. The bathroom shared by the two below-grade “bedrooms” is dreary, dated, and smelly. The main floor bathroom is more pleasant, however the water pressure in the shower is nearly non-existent, a lightbulb was out, and the ceiling vent had a thick layer of dust. This rental represents what is wrong with the VBRO (etc) business model: deceptive photography, misleading information, and reviewers who lack the backbone to provide candid feedback. The paucity of hotels outside of downtown Seattle has allowed for a proliferation of shoddy rentals at absurd prices. Fitness center on site? There are four mats and two sets of damaged dumbbells. I’m sure the zoo passes are valuable to some, but I’d wager that most renters want fresh, comfortable living and sleeping spaces. I will surrender to the annoyance of downtown traffic and inconvenience so that I can have acceptable accommodations that deliver on their cost. Is this the worst rental ever? Of course not. But it is a solid disappointment offered by owners who are well aware that they are deceiving renters. Best of luck to others.

Thank you for your feedback. We take guest concerns seriously and followed up on the issues mentioned in your review.
We have not received reports from previous guests of an odor in the lower level, nor have we experienced one ourselves. We also do not use scented cleaning products that could mask odors. Nevertheless, we inspected the space again following your stay.
We also had the upstairs shower water pressure checked by a handyman and it was found to be functioning normally. The lightbulb and dusty vent are straightforward housekeeping items, and we appreciate you bringing those to our attention.
We would also like to clarify the reference to a “fitness center.” We have never advertised the property as having a fitness center. A few yoga mats and dumbbells were provided as an extra convenience for guests, and VRBO categorized these amenities in a way that may have created that impression. We have corrected the listing to avoid that misunderstanding.
Finally, both bedrooms are located on the home's lower level. While this was represented in the listing and photographs, we have updated the description to make the home's two-level layout even more explicit so future guests can determine whether it is the right fit for them.
We are disappointed that the home did not meet your expectations, but we appreciate the opportunity to clarify these points and to make the listing even clearer for future guests.
This was probably one of my favorite places I've stayed! It was so clean, spacious and comfortable for four friends doing a remote work getaway. The communication was wonderful and we had zero issues at all. I hope to return to this sweet house very soon!
