A warm welcome to our new, light-filled holiday apartment, the "Kanalsuite," with a direct panoramic view of the stunningly beautiful Kiel Canal! Centrally located between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, right in the heart of Schleswig-Holstein.

Our approximately 98-square-meter "Canal Suite" is located on the upper floor of our newly built house and impresses with its location, its design, and its floor-to-ceiling windows, which offer you a wonderful panoramic view of the ships passing by on the Kiel Canal from the front living area. It’s in the front row, RIGHT on the Kiel Canal.
The spacious combined living and dining area with an open kitchen and the adjoining 22-square-meter balcony facing the water offer you a unique view. A bedroom with a second, large balcony facing the quiet garden side, a bathroom with a double sink, shower, and bathtub, as well as a guest bathroom, round out the amenities. Made-up beds, soft hand and bath towels, free Wi-Fi, free SKY access (including Bundesliga, sports, and films), and a cosy, extra-large Sylt beach chair on the balcony facing the water are included. Designer laminate flooring and wood-look tiles, along with underfloor heating in every room, combine with the lovingly selected home décor to create a cosy atmosphere.
Here, you’ll have the opportunity to escape the daily grind and find relaxation in a charming setting. Explore the 98.26 km-long Kiel Canal right on your doorstep on your own, either on foot or by bike, and take a seat on the world’s longest bench (575.75 m) on the banks of the Kiel Canal. Marvel at and take a ride on the operational suspension ferry nearby—one of only eight remaining in the world—and enjoy the view of the Rendsburg railway viaduct from there. In just about 30 minutes, you can reach historic towns worth visiting, such as Kiel and Schleswig (Schlei), or the county seat of Rendsburg, which is only 10 minutes away. Discover the small Baltic Sea town of Eckernförde with its wonderful, tourist-tax-free beach, or the Hüttener Berge Nature Park. Enjoy the unique climate between the Baltic and North Seas in the beautiful, northernmost German state of Schleswig-Holstein!

This spacious, comfortable holiday rental is located in the quiet village of Westerrönfeld, centrally situated between the Baltic and North Seas and close to numerous historic and picturesque towns. You’ll also find various supermarkets and discount stores here, as well as doctors’ offices, a pharmacy, and petrol stations. Several highly recommended restaurants are within walking distance. A central starting point for many excursions, or biking and hiking tours throughout Schleswig-Holstein.

Unfortunately, due to its architectural design, our apartment does not provide adequate safety for children; therefore, it is unsuitable for them and cannot be booked for insurance reasons. Likewise, pets of any kind are not permitted due to an animal hair allergy.
