I waited a couple of weeks before posting this review because I hoped the listing would be updated. As of today, the photos still do not reflect the unit I stayed in.To be fair, the host was responsive and helpful. Check-in and locating the keys were a little confusing at first, but she answered when I called and guided me through getting into the apartment. The unit itself was clean and nice enough. My issue is that the apartment I received was not the apartment shown in the listing. The photos showed a separate bedroom with windows, but the unit I arrived at had a much more studio-style sleeping area with no windows. The layout was completely different from what I believed I booked. When I contacted the host, she explained that she had moved to a different unit and did not have updated pictures. That information should have been disclosed before booking, or at least communicated right away, so I could decide whether I still wanted to stay during the cancellation window.VRBO reviewed the photos I provided and confirmed the unit did not match the listing. A resolution was reached, but it was already late and I did not want the stress of finding another place at the last minute.I appreciate the host’s help, but accurate photos and descriptions matter. Future guests deserve to know exactly which unit they are booking.
