This is a charming little bungalow adjacent to the main house on this property. There's 3 rooms: a fairly large bed/living room/kitchen, a bathroom, and a covered patio. Large king bed, full-sized fridge, range, lovely impressionist painting in the bathroom. The centerpiece of this place, however, is the host, Keith. We chatted shortly after arriving and his tips on where to go and do on the island changed our trip from aimless wandering into a magical evening with fireflies and lightning. We spent some time that evening listening to a thunderstorm roll in under the covered patio. I live about 3000 miles away, but if I get the chance to go back to Ocracoke, this is the first place I'd look to stay.

After a hiccup with the ferry, we arrived much later than planned. Keith was so understanding and helpful. The bungalow is beautiful and everything the beach life is about. Nestled in lush foliage, it feels like a jungle retreat but it’s only minutes from the beach and the sound. Being pet friendly was the icing on the cake. We were able to take our older dog to the beach for the first time. Core memories were made.

The Bungalow was so beautiful and cozy, the bathroom being my personal favorite. Very open and clean and anything we needed was there for us! The location is a perfect spot for walking to different places in town and Kieth was an incredible host! Providing top tier recommendations and answering questions very timely! The price is well deserved, for the spot and how lovely the place is, I would consider it a steal! We had a wonderful time and definitely plan on coming back!
