Perfect Family Villa for Day Trips through Tuscany

The house was beautiful and the location was a perfect launching point for day trips (Lucca, Pisa, Cinque Terre, Florence, etc.). We loved the secluded and private large yard with pool, outdoor covered areas, and amazing views of the sea and hills. The area has everything close (cafes, grocery stores, highway access, etc.). We would certainly stay there again! The owner and management team were super responsive via email and WhatsApp to all of our questions, very helpful with local recommendations, and very accommodating with the check-in/out process. Thank you for an amazing location for our vacation!

Great villa in a lovely location

The villa and surroundings are fantastic! We really enjoyed our stay. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. A couple of points to note: I would check the sleeping accomodation meets your needs carefully. I would say there were really 3 bedrooms, one has second double on mezanine level. The fifth room is a mezanine with no headroom or storage and rooflight without a curtain - so was not really usable. The wifi is good at one end of villa but does not get to the other end where terrace is located so can be a little frustrating and meant us using our mobile data instead.

Hillside Property with Wonderful Views

Our family grouping of 8 adults stayed at the villa for 2 weeks. We thoroughly enjoyed the terrace, pool area and amazing views from the roof terrace. Getting to the villa is via a narrow curvy road. It would be advantageous to have mirrors across from the entrance to view oncoming traffic. It is not safe to leave the villa on foot to jog or walk due to the narrow curves near the entrance. There were no reviews prior to our booking of the villa so we did not realize that there are really only 3 bedrooms that accommodate adults making it unsuitable for the 8 of us. Nor is there comfortable seating in the living area for a larger group and that includes the outdoor seating area plus lounging by the pool. We enjoyed cooking many meals in the kitchen which would benefit from better lighting as would the living area so you could sit and read. There were no pantry items provided in the kitchen. The management team was very quick to respond when the internet went out and with other issues that came up. They also were very helpful in providing advice on the area.
