Josie's Farmhaus | Sleeps 10 | Pool + hot tub

Four bedrooms, two baths, sleeps ten - a century-old farmhouse a half mile south of Main Street, with a stock tank pool and a hot tub on the back deck. Built for the whole group, so nobody draws the couch. H-E-B is a block away and Lost Draw Cellars is a five-minute walk.

Josie's Farmhaus was originally built in 1920 and has been modernized while keeping the history of the house intact. The stock tank pool was added to help guests cool off in the Texas heat, and the deck is where most groups end up after dinner. Guests keep finding arrowheads in the yard.

You'll have the entire home and lot including the back deck. The basement and storage shed stay locked. A co-host lives about three minutes away if anything urgent comes up.

Perfect mixture of traditional charm and modern and comfortable convenience. We made a wonderful Thanksgiving meal in the spacious kitchen, and we enjoyed it in the cozy living room. Saw an abundance of deer, enjoyed the hot tub, and we were minutes away from HEB and Main Street.

This home was perfect for our quick trip to Fredericksburg. The home was spacious, clean and had a great location. A quiet neighborhood and close by an HEB. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great time overall and really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect and made it easy to get around Fredericksburg, which we appreciated so much. The home was also well-stocked with essentials, which made things convenient for our group.A couple things to keep in mind: for larger groups, the bathroom setup can be a bit tricky since one of the bathrooms is located in the primary bedroom upstairs and the other is a Jack & Jill style. We also felt the home could benefit from a bit more detailed cleaning in some areas. Overall, the host was extremely responsive and accommodating, totally recommend! Overall, it’s a charming home in a great location and worked well for our trip.

Christmas Family Trip Fredericksburg

We enjoyed our stay. House was exactly as listed and had pretty Christmas decor inside. It was nice to see a family of deer outside every morning too. We would stay here again.

Beautiful farmhouse style!

We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend and loved our stay! Plenty of room for all 9 of us and had great accommodations for everyone. It is super close to downtown Fredericksburg for shopping and some of the best restaurants! Would def recommend eating at hill and vine anytime of the day. Would absolutely book Josie’s Farmhaus again!

Perfect for 2 families with teens-space to spread out outside and the hot tub was awesome. Convenient location to H-E-B since we forgot half of our Thanksgiving supplies😂. Nice personal touches and you can tell it’s well taken care of!

BEST Vacation Rental!

I've stayed at quite a few vacation rentals and this one was by far one of the best. Everything was well thought out and the property was even more beautiful in person. There is plenty of space for a group and it was close to downtown. The owners paid attention to every detail during their renovation and make their guests feel welcome. We had the best time and can't wait to go back!

Amazing place and hosts!

Came down for wine tasting and this place was accommodating from the start with their cancelation policy as we planned months in advance. Once we arrived, we were greeted by the cute decor and clean house. The hosts were super responsive to quick, simple questions. This place is a great retreat to rest and relax in while you spend a weekend exploring Fredricksburg!

We enjoyed our stay at Josie’s Farmhaus! The home is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood. The children enjoyed the “pool”. The beds were very comfortable. The decor was cute and many thoughtful extra touches were included. Dakota was amazing at answering questions and facilitating check-in

Cuteness overload

We loved the decor, and the beds and linens were top notch. Lots of attention to detail throughout the house. Quiet and peaceful setting, great location, very comfortable, and a large television were all reasons to rent this again if we’re in Fredericksburg. The deck and hot tub were also a great way to relax after a long day of shopping!
