This cabin is designed for recreation, holidays, and relaxation for the working population and the achievers of our society.<br><br>Bookable for weekends, birthdays, corporate parties, skiing, or simply a holiday.<br><br>A cabin holiday in the past<br><br>In 1492, Christopher Columbus discovered America; at the same time, wood for the construction of this cabin was being cut in a small Alpine mountain village named Krimml.<br><br>You can now use the bathroom inside the cabin. <br><br>While you’re relieving yourself and downloading weather data via the free Wi-Fi, the flush toilet carries your waste away silently and odorlessly.<br><br>The underfloor heating, which radiates soothing warmth through the century-old floor, rounds out your visit to this little spot today.<br><br>The Hütte von Damals and the adjacent outhouse are beautifully situated <br><br>between Kitzbühel and the Zillertal, in the immediate vicinity of <br><br>Europe’s highest waterfalls, in the mountain village of A-5743 Krimml<br><br>Awarded four edelweiss—the highest distinction from the Austrian State Association—from 2008 to 2014.<br><br>The historic lodge, designated a cultural heritage site by the Hague Convention in the 1950s, is also the birthplace of “Anton Wallner,” a freedom fighter and commander-in-chief under Andreas Hofer in 1809.<br><br>220 square metres with 15 beds in 7 separate sleeping quarters from different historical periods.<br><br>Beds are made up with beaver-fur bedding, or, upon request, with original, antique, hand-woven linen bedding.<br><br>The best parties always take place in the kitchen.<br><br>In the kitchen, with its rustic Gothic vaulted ceiling, the 2.5-meter-long dining table, and the corner bench made of reclaimed wood, cosy evenings and celebrations are guaranteed.<br><br>The PA sound system in the kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, even at parties ;-).<br><br>You can cook over an open fire or (for the Stoderers) on the ceramic cooktop.<br><br>A refrigerator and dishwasher are, of course, available “despite the cabin’s status as a cultural heritage site.”<br><br>Living room with 2 box-style double beds, a cosy sofa area, and a TV.<br><br>Double room with a cot:<br><br>In addition to the entire exterior shell, the ceiling of this room also dates back to the house’s construction in the 15th century. <br><br>The Wilhelminian-style beds have been extended to 180 by 200 cm.<br><br>Sleigh Room:<br><br>The ceilings and wall panelling date back to 1771, and the long wooden sleigh has been converted into two single beds.<br><br>Hallway:<br><br>During the renovation, the entrance hall—like the other rooms—was equipped with underfloor heating and tiled with 150-year-old handmade bricks. <br><br>Hanging on the wall is a small gallery featuring the freedom fighters of 1809 led by Andreas Hofer, as well as original weapons from the Napoleonic Wars of 1809.<br><br>Endless tobogganing and sledding: Krimml is the perfect place to enjoy tobogganing to your heart’s content.<br><br>Double room with a baby cot:<br><br>This room, along with the “Sleigh Room,” is one of the few that have been preserved in their original state.<br><br>The wall and ceiling panelling also date back to 1771.<br><br>The Cosy Chamber.<br><br>A 300-year-old log staircase with a trapdoor leads to the attic, where the former maid’s room is located; in 2011, it was converted into the Cosy Chamber with a double bed.<br><br>Originally, an old schoolmaster’s whip was intended solely as a
