The holiday rental is located on the 1st floor of the so-called “Kutscherhaus” (coach house) from 1893, which was part of the former district administrator’s villa. The coach house was completely renovated in 2010 and restored, modernised, and expanded according to the latest standards.
Its charm comes from the variety of materials: ship decking, anthracite-colored tiles in the bathrooms, and plenty of glass for an open, airy look. The floor-to-ceiling glass front spanning the entire width of the room is crowned by the balcony, which offers you a view of the greenery!
The apartment measures 97 square metres.
It consists of 3 rooms: a very comfortable, open-concept living-kitchen-dining area with underfloor heating, as well as two bedrooms. The ship decking in these 3 rooms gives the apartment a warm, cosy feel. Additionally, the apartment features an utility room with a washing machine.
The apartment has a full bathroom with a shower, bathtub, and underfloor heating, as well as a guest bathroom.

The kitchen: fully equipped with a dishwasher, a 4-burner ceramic cooktop and oven, a microwave, a refrigerator with freezer compartment, and a Cafisimo coffee maker (Tchibo).

Wi-Fi throughout the apartment.

Living/dining room: corner sofa with a view of Bürgerpark and an IKEA Poäng armchair. Dining table for 6 people, satellite TV.

Bedrooms: One double bed (180 cm wide/200 cm long) in each bedroom, dressers, and a closet; the larger bedroom also has a sleeper sofa that accommodates 2 additional people.

A high chair and a cot can be provided upon request.

The apartment includes a parking space right next to the building.

Bed linens and towels for 2 people are included in the price. For each additional person beyond the 2nd, there is an extra charge of 15.00 per person.

This is a non-smoking apartment! Smoking is permitted on the balcony.
The apartment comes with a large, lockable shed that can accommodate up to 3 bicycles.

Location
The Baltic Sea town of Eckernförde, with its approximately 25,000 residents, is located between Kiel and Flensburg and is a fascinating destination in every season. In the summer, you can enjoy the lively atmosphere at the street cafés or on the Baltic Sea beach; in the winter, you can breathe in the fresh sea air while taking a walk in the surrounding forests. The harbour, with its freshly caught fish straight from the fishing boats, has plenty to offer seafarers and visitors alike and contributes to the town’s picturesque atmosphere. Eckernförde Bay is a popular sailing destination, and its 500 berths make it a favourite stop for boaters.
The Old Town, with its narrow alleys and fishermen’s cottages, is perfect for strolling.
Good shopping, restaurants, wine bar, ice cream parlour, organic market. Banks and many shops. Weekly market (Wednesday/Saturday).
Bicycle rentals, seawater wave pool, sailing school—boat rentals and diving school, tennis, golf, DB train station. Boat tours on the Baltic Sea via motorboats or sailboats.
The approximately 4 km long beach with its fine sand offers ideal conditions for guests eager to sunbathe and swim—and especially for children!
Hiking trails along the cliffs offer a wonderful view of Eckernförde Bay.
Numerous events take place at the harbour during the summer months:
Eel Regatta, Sprat Days, Pirate Days, and the Big Fish Market on the first Sunday of every month.

The holiday rental at Mühlenberg 10a is the ideal starting point for numerous activities. The beach, as well as the picturesque old town of Eckernförde with its many different shops, restaurants, and cafes in and around the pedestrian zone, are just a 4-minute walk away.
The beautiful Windebyer Noor, an inland lake on the western edge of town, is also just about a 4-minute walk from the holiday rental and invites you to take a roughly two-hour walk all the way around the lake. If you enjoy jogging, you’ll find an ideal running route here! (One full lap: approx. 12 km)
