Exceptional home, 5 minutes drive from Nerja on a quiet, residential estate with pool and private gardens and terraces. With 3 main bedrooms and a 4th with a single day bed spread over two floors. A master bedroom upstairs with en suite and a twin bedroom, also with en suite, offering flexible sleeping arrangements. Downstairs there is another double bedroom and seperate shower room, together with the fourth bedroom which also provides internal access to the outdior dining and bbq area.The house is spacious, with multiple areas to relax indoors and out and lounge areas on both floors.There is reverse cycle heating and cooling and ceiling fans in all bedrooms, making it a perfect retreat any time of year. Whether relaxing indoors or on the outdoor terraces amongst gardens offering sun or shade, guests will also appreciate the extremely well supplied kitchen. There is fast optic fibre internet and smart TV's on both floors.
Only a 5 minute drive to good supermarkets without entering town and the attractive village of Maro a 5 minute walk away

I am a long-term resident of the Nerja area and consider it to be one of the best places in the world to visit and live in, whether from a climatic, gastronomic,social or cultural perspective. It is extremely well connected for fast access to all the great Andalucian heritage sites of Granada, Cordoba and Seville and the house is a five minute walk from the world famous and beautiful Nerja Caves.

Why they chose this property

The immediate area has many gorgeous beaches catering for all tastes and inclinations, from hidden coves accesible along the old coast road towards La Herradura with even a naturist beach at Cantarijan, to the busy main beach of Nerja at Burriana with its numerous restaurants at the waters edge. The country side behind our small estate can be explored for several kilometers on an unsurfaced road and all of the coastal hinterland behind Nerja begs for exploration., particularly the renowned hill village of Frigiliana.
The whole area has a diverse and cosmopolitan mix of residents and friendly locals making it an easy place to make new friends

What makes this property unique

El Descanso, was my home for a number of years and retains the feeling of a home compared to a utilitarian tourist rental. It is very well equipped and provides a great sense of privacy and security in a small and friendly community.
