Fully equipped, centrally-located cozy studio-cottage in the lush heart of Coconut Grove, a 15 minute walk to Coco-Walk and Biscayne Bayfront and a short drive of most of South Florida's attractions.

The space
Fully equipped studio-cabin in the heart of Coconut Grove. Main room with queen bed and table, and ample closet, and adjoining-but-separate kitchen and bathroom.

The neighborhood
Coconut Grove is the historic center of Miami, with an eclectic mix of older, classic homes, and multiple modern mansions. Guests marvel at lush subtropical foliage, and the peaceful surrounding with wild peacocks roaming the streets, and squirrels and other wildlife in the trees.

Central CocoWalk area and the bayfront's Bayshore Drive have undergone a make-over during the past decade, with dozens of bars, coffee shops, restaurants and boutiques of all types and price ranges. There's definitely multiple options for every preference and budget.

Groceries and supplies are nearby, with choices of Trader Joe's, Milam's, Fresh Market, Publix within 1-2 miles.

My wife and I are empty nesters, living in the main house next to the cottage. She is the decorator/artist and I'm the handyman, and together we enjoy "turning guests on" to the peace and beauty of the Grove, as they visit South Florida.

The Grove feels like a peaceful escape from more chaotic areas of South Florida, while being close to everything. Guests come for multiple reasons - tourism, medical procedures, programs at nearby University of Miami, sailing regattas on Biscayne Bay, weddings, visiting family in South Florida, etc, etc.
