Milkmans House - the special country house with its own spa

Welcome to Milkmans House, our sustainably and exclusively restored country house nestled in the heart of Croatia’s unspoiled nature! With 160 m2 of living space, the house offers plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 children and features two cosy living rooms, three bedrooms, and a cosy dining room with a large oak table where everyone can relax and enjoy themselves.<br>Our country house features its own spa with a large sauna and a hot tub, from which you can step directly into our 2,000 m² natural garden. The house is nestled in a tiny village, from which you can explore the surrounding area in all directions on long hikes or bike rides.<br>You can also take great day trips by car, such as to the Kupa, one of Croatia’s cleanest natural rivers. The Kupa is a diverse river that’s perfect for swimming and rafting. Anglers will also find plenty to enjoy here. In Gorski Kotar, you can also observe brown bears in their natural habitat from the comfort of a treehouse or take a trip to the Plitvice Lakes. And if you’re in the mood for culture and culinary experiences, the lively capital city of Zagreb is just an hour’s drive away.<br>If the sea calls to you, you can reach the picturesque little coves of Kvarner in an hour and explore the surrounding towns, or stroll through the colourful vegetable and fish market in Rijeka in the morning to stock up your fridge. In the surrounding area, you’ll find numerous small restaurants and cafés to suit every taste. In the evening, return to our pleasant mountain climate and enjoy comfortable nighttime temperatures.<br>Milkmans House is so comfortable that you can choose between two living rooms. The cosy dining area also invites you to linger. Our kitchen features a practical work surface and a large, new side-by-side refrigerator for all your groceries and supplies. Ideal conditions for cooking and dining together. Our house offers free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and parking spaces in front of the house. The spa area features a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. In the lower living room, an antique tiled stove invites you to enjoy cosy evenings by the fire; otherwise, there is central heating, which is billed based on usage.<br>We’re happy to help with suggestions and planning your activities.
