Welcome to the Old Train Station in Kruft!

Since 01.07.2023, you’ve had the opportunity to stay in our newly built holiday apartment (110 square metres) on the ground floor of the building!

High ceilings like in a castle, full-surface floor heating beneath elegant parquet flooring. 110 square metres of living space (entire apartment) in our pet-friendly “Alter Bahnhof” in 56642 Kruft is at your disposal.

We look forward to welcoming you to our high, light-filled rooms, which have been furnished with elegant details and great care.

Each apartment features free Wi-Fi, a smart TV, and a Teufel Bluetooth/Wi-Fi speaker.

Unfortunately, the website operator Fewo-direkt.de / VRBO is experiencing connection issues with our channel manager Smoobu, which is why we had to disable instant booking for all listings, as our prices are not synchronised across all platforms as desired.

House-trained pets are welcome; a flat pet fee of €25.00 applies when bringing pets.

If you’d like to organise an event or party, please let us know in advance. We’ve hosted stag nights and barbecue evenings here on several occasions. For such events, it’s important to us that we can speak with the other guests in the building beforehand.

From our holiday rental in Kruft, you can enjoy many activities, such as sightseeing at the Deutsches Eck near Koblenz, Eltz Castle, the monastery in Maria Laach, or countless wine villages along the Rhine, Ahr, and Moselle rivers. Hiking, mountain biking, swimming, and more are also possible right nearby!

Otherwise, just make yourself comfortable in our spacious holiday rental.

Longer stays in one of our lovingly designed apartments in the “Old Kruft Train Station Building” are possible—feel free to enquire.

There are plenty of towels available. We change the bed linens before every stay.

A note about the accommodation: Pictures say more than 1,000 words... :-)

Parking spaces are located right in front of the house, as well as directly adjacent to the sports field. Public (free) parking spaces are also located 30–50 metres away from the train station.

1 king-size double bed (dimensions: 1.80 x 2.00 m) – 2 guests (adults/children)

Living room/bedroom 2:
1 king-size double bed (dimensions: 1.80 x 2.00 m) or two beds measuring 0.90 x 2.00 m that can be pushed together or pulled apart - 2 guests (adults/children)

Bedroom 3:
4x IKEA Släkt pull-out single beds (dimensions: 2x 0.90 x 2.00 m each) – 4 guests (adults/children)

Optional:
1x baby/child rollaway bed – 1 guest (baby/child up to 3 years old)

1x camp bed/folding bed (each measuring 1.80 x 0.70 m) – 1 guest (adult/child)

Renovation work is currently still taking place on the ground floor during the day, so there may be some minor construction noise.

Upon arrival, we ask that you provide a flat-rate security deposit of €150.00, which will be refunded to you automatically upon your proper return of the apartment.

About the surrounding area (for when you’re out and about):

Kruft is located directly on the A61 and also has its own train station, which is still regularly used for passenger service.
From there, you can easily reach nearby towns such as Andernach, Mendig, Mayen, and Koblenz.

Free parking is available right in front of the house and in public areas nearby.

Plaidt & Kretz are home to the best milk ice cream (Lung’s Eis)—an opportunity not to be missed.
