A warm welcome to our lovingly restored Eifel farmhouse.
Here in our beautiful Vulkaneifel, “Jehöschnis” refers to a special feeling best described as “cosy” and “comfortable.”
Here in our small, idyllic village of Gees near Gerolstein, we look forward to welcoming you to our historic farmhouse. We completely renovated the farmhouse (built in 1648) in 1990; it had previously been home to our great-great-grandparents, great-grandparents, grandparents, and parents.
In early 2023, we decided to convert our in-house apartment into a holiday rental.
Our lovingly and comfortably furnished holiday rental offers 55 square metres of space for 2 people (max. 3 people). Your comfort is our top priority here.
The apartment also features a separate entrance that leads directly to your private garden area with a natural pond and a cosy barbecue lounge. Here, after an eventful day of holiday, you can unwind on additional lounge chairs and enjoy nature.

On-site costs: Note regarding the guest fee: To promote regional tourism, overnight guests staying at lodging facilities in the Gerolstein municipal association have been required to pay a guest tax of 0.75 euros per person per night since 01.01.2024. Children aged 0–5 and business and educational travellers are exempt from this tax. The bylaw can be viewed at: www.gerolstein.de/gaestebeitrag Price per night: 85.00 euros Short holiday / 4 nights: 420.00 euros The price includes all utilities, such as electricity, water, heating, Wi-Fi, use of the washing machine and dryer, parking, and final cleaning, as well as bed linens. In addition, each guest is provided with 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 1 flannel, and 1 shower towel. Furthermore, flour, sugar, salt, coffee, tea, cocoa, spices, dishwasher tablets, dish soap, dishcloths, kitchen towels, paper towels, laundry detergent, soap, shower supplies, toilet paper, and facial tissues are provided for your use. Our holiday rental is a smoke-free property. Out of consideration for our next guests, we ask for your understanding in this matter.
