If you are more into fast-paced activities, you should try downhill biking on Hafjell or rafting on Gudbrandsdalslågen. Visit Lillehammer in the southern part of Gudbrandsdalen and explore the Maihaugen open-air museum with buildings dating from around 1200 to the present day. Day trips to Hunderfossen Eventyrpark and Lilleputthammer Family Park are a great idea.
