The apartment is located on the outskirts of Schweighofen in the Südliche Weinstraße district. 
Schweighofen lies on the French border and offers a view of Alsace.
From the apartment, you can go on numerous hikes or bike rides in the Palatinate Forest, to Schweigen-Rechtenbach and the German Wine Gate, or into neighbouring Alsace. 
Within walking distance, you’ll find a supermarket (Aldi) and numerous farm stands for your daily needs.
Schweighofen has a train station that’s an 8-minute walk from the apartment. 
From here, you can travel as far as Neustadt or even to neighbouring Wissembourg (France).
There is also a bus service to Bad Bergzabern.
The Schweighofen airfield is also just a few minutes’ walk away.

Waren zum zweiten mal in der Ferienwohnung. Da die Wohnung im „Keller“ liegt, war sie trotz der hohen sommerlichen Außentemperaturen mit fast 40 Grad idealer Rückzugsort.

Zwischen Pfalz und Elsass

Schweighofen ist sehr schön gelegen, wenn man ländliche Umgebung mag. Wir fanden es ideal, morgens mit unserem Hund an Kühen, Pferden und Ziegen spazieren zu gehen. Wir waren schnell in Frankreich oder an der Weinstraße und hatten Gelegenheit, die Schönheit der Gegend zu erkunden. Unsere FEWO war sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Besser konnten wir es nicht treffen. Wir können die Wohnung Elena weiter empfehlen.

Schönes Ambiente

Liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung als Einliegerwohnung. Direkt am Feldrand - unser Hund hat es genossen. Die Ferienwohnung ist modern, aber sehr geschmackvoll. Das halbe Ankleidezimmer am Schlafzimmer war ungewöhnlich, aber praktisch. Eine große Wohnküche mit allem was man benötigt ist vorhanden. Die Vermieterin ist super nett. Die Stadt Weissenburg in Frankreich mit schöner Altstadt und vielen netten Geschäften liegt praktisch vor der Haustüre. Gerne kommen wir wieder.
