The good- This villa was clean, the one air conditioner unit worked to keep the entire place cool (and it was HOT while we were there) and the grounds were nice.The bad- this place was completely BARE bones in terms of providing ANYTHING to make the house feel like a home. We literally had a salt and pepper and dish soap. We had to pay for our towels and bedding. We had to pay a separate cleaning fee. And taxes. It was 185 extra (felt like a money grab). So factor in having to buy basics like a bar of soap for the bathroom and a sponge to wash dishes and extra toilet paper (we ran out on day 3- they gave us 2 small rolls for 2 people and 9 nights). Location is far from anything easily walkable. The roads are dark and there’s no sidewalks so it’s dangerous on foot or bike. The easiest way to find the address on Google Maps is “Residence Miriacheddu”. This was all very mysterious and left off the directions. I never would have found the place and got in if the office was closed. The wifi only works in one corner of the balcony closest to the office, otherwise you have to use your data. I don’t think claiming it has wifi is accurate. Pro tip- their garbage area is only open 8-11am. And don’t rent a big vehicle because it won’t fit in the driveway. The office seemed like it was always closed when we needed something and the only way to communicate effectively was in Italian translation.
