Hello and a warm welcome to our private home, “Alpen-Chalet-Sol-Alpium,” in Reit im Winkl. A high-altitude health resort that has always enchanted “summer holidaymakers,” nature lovers, and winter sports enthusiasts with its unique location and unspoiled charm. We invite you to spend your holiday in the most beautiful “Winkl” of Upper Bavaria and experience the magic of our village for yourself.
Our cosy, non-smoking studio apartments—furnished in an “alpine wood design” and featuring a large private balcony—as well as a single holiday apartment with its own outdoor seating area in the garden, offer you a homely atmosphere and the exclusive privacy of a single-family home. We can welcome up to a maximum of 9 guests at a time in our private home. Two studio apartments (Giebelstadl and Kaiserstüberl) are located right next to each other in the attic and can be booked together. This is ideal for couples who are friends, families, or small groups. We also offer an additional single apartment for a travelling friend or family member (e.g., grandma, grandpa, etc.). That way, no one has to stay home.

Enjoy the utmost comfort in our approximately 20 m² “Alpenkammerl” single apartment, which features a covered outdoor seating area overlooking the garden (garden view). The apartment is ideal for 1 person (solo travellers or those travelling with a companion). It features, among other things, a kitchenette and a private bathroom with a shower. Your apartment is located on the upper floor of our private home. The covered outdoor seating area is the perfect spot to relax, or simply enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, or an evening wheat beer or cocktail, etc. Sunset included.

Whether it’s fresh groceries, local specialities, or souvenirs—there’s something for everyone here. Enjoy culinary highlights at the numerous restaurants, cafés, and bars in the centre. Treat yourself to regional delicacies or relax with a cosy drink at one of the local establishments—all within easy walking distance (approx. 700 m)!
The safety of our guests is of the utmost importance to us. That’s why we’ve installed smoke detectors throughout the chalet.
Also available for you in the gallery are a first-aid kit compliant with DIN 13157, a fire blanket compliant with EN/DIN 1869, two information signs detailing the correct actions to take in an emergency, and a list of all important phone numbers in case of an emergency. On every floor and in the underground car park, there is a fire extinguisher certified to DIN EN3-GS, as well as emergency exit signs (some illuminated) to help our guests find their way.

Reit im Winkl, a climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the designation “climatic health resort” is awarded to “locations whose air and climate, according to an expert assessment, possess qualities that are beneficial for relaxation and health.” Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and has consistently met the criteria for this designation ever since through its ongoing efforts. One key factor is its high elevation, which ensures that summer heat is moderated and nights remain pleasantly cool. The town is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and, in terms of its general climate, belongs to the “Bavarian Alps” climate region. The character of the weather is largely determined by the local conditions—that is, by the influence of the mountain ranges and valleys on weather patterns. In addition to the natural conditions that ensure good air quality, we actively work to preserve the fresh mountain air by utilising natural heat sources and providing ample bus service.
