Bramberg am Wildkogel is an ideal starting point for numerous hikes. Places well worth visiting include the mineral-rich Habach Valley with its emerald mine, the Hollersbach Valley, the Lower and Upper Sulzbach Valleys, and the Krimml Waterfalls – the highest in Europe. The Tauern Cycle Route, approximately 50 km long, is perfect for exploring the countryside. Families love the high-altitude hiking trails through the Kitzbühel Alps and the Hohe Tauern. The Wildkogel high-altitude hiking area offers superb views of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Those who prefer a more leisurely pace can take the 6-seater gondola lift up the mountain. Zell am See, the Großglockner, Kitzbühel and Salzburg are all about 1.5 hours’ drive away.
