Host profile image

Hi, I’m April! Michigan born and raised, I love charming small towns, vintage finds, and places with a little personality. I especially love Northern Michigan and all the simple things that come with being Up North—time on the water, campfires, small towns, and slowing down for a while.

Sturgeon’s Return is a special place to me. I’ve had a lot of fun bringing this little midcentury cabin on the Sturgeon River back to life and filling it with things I love. My hope is that it feels less like a rental and more like your own little Up North getaway while you’re here.

When I’m not working in real estate or tinkering with the cabin, I’m usually dreaming up my next project. I’m happy to share local recommendations and want every guest to have a comfortable, memorable stay.

Come Up North. Slow Down. Stay Awhile. Return often.
