Bungalow - Buchenblick - Jensen, Dörte und Thomas

The Buchenblick holiday rental, located in a new bungalow built in 2023, features a large living room with high ceilings and a floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the garden. The living room is furnished with a dining table, two sofas, and a TV, and offers direct access to the well-equipped kitchen and an exit to the patio. The terrace is furnished with a garden table and chairs, as well as two lounge chairs. The large bedroom features a double bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m) and a wardrobe; there is a TV, and there is also room for a travel cot (available upon request). The smaller bedroom has a bunk bed (mattress size: 0.90 m x 2.00 m), a wardrobe, and an armchair that can be converted into an additional sleeping space (0.80 m x 2.00 m): This means the holiday rental can accommodate up to six people. Both bedrooms have blackout curtains and screens. The large bathroom with natural light features a walk-in shower, sink, and toilet, as well as a washing machine. A lockable storage room for bicycles or similar items and a carport right next to the house are available. In the same building, there is also a second, smaller apartment for up to four people (Grünberg).



In the small village of Großenwiehe, in the heart of Schleswig-Holstein’s green inland region, Dörte and Thomas Jensen welcome their guests to three different holiday apartments. On the large property, which includes the family’s farm, you’ll feel right at home, and you can truly relax in the holiday apartments of various sizes.

The holiday rental is located on the upper floor of a multi-family home: it is accessed via a shared entrance and measures approximately 40 square metres. It features a bedroom with a double bed and seating area, a bathroom with a shower, and a well-equipped kitchen. Guests are welcome to use the garden shed and outdoor furniture in the large garden. An additional sleeping option for one person is available on a sleeper sofa in the kitchen.

The bungalow, completed in 2023, contains one small and one larger holiday apartment; each apartment has a separate entrance and a terrace, as well as access to the garden: 

The Buchenblick apartment is approximately 95 square metres in size and features a very large living room and two bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with a bunk bed and a sleeper chair), as well as a well-equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. It can accommodate five people; upon request, up to six people/children can be accommodated (with a travel cot). 
The Grünberg apartment is 52 square metres in size and features a bedroom with a double bed, a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a large living and dining area with a well-equipped kitchenette. It can be booked for two or three people (one sleeping spot is the high-quality sofa bed in the living and dining area).

Final cleaning, bed linens, towels, utilities, Wi-Fi, and a parking space are included in all apartments. If you’d like an extra bed or baby equipment (travel cot, high chair), please enquire directly.

Depending on interest and availability, guests of all ages are welcome to visit the animals (cows, dog, cats). There is a swing and a small sandpit in the yard.
The two smaller apartments can also be booked by companies and each can accommodate one worker or technician.



Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and check-out from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
