Tucked among the rolling hills just outside New London, Missouri, and only 11 miles from historic Hannibal, the home overlooks our working cattle farm and offers a peaceful countryside escape. Little House on the Hill offers the perfect place to slow down, unwind, and experience the quiet beauty of rural living.

This farmhouse offers the perfect countryside retreat for couples, small families, or friends. Comfortably sleeping up to four guests, the smoke-free home features a queen bed in the bedroom and a futon in the living room. For added convenience, a washer and dryer are located in the bedroom. The spacious bathroom includes a double vanity and an accessible walk-in shower. The full-size kitchen provides plenty of space to prepare your favorite meals, along with a dining table that seats four. One of the home's most-loved features is the screened-in porch, where you can relax with your morning coffee or unwind in the evening while taking in peaceful views of the rolling farm hills. Outside, you'll find a charcoal grill, fire pit, comfortable patio seating, and a classic rope swing that's fun for both kids and adults.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Little House on the Hill. It was the perfect, little house for a quiet getaway. It is close enough to enjoy downtown Hannibal but far enough to escape the city noise. The screened in porch is perfect for quiet mornings and peaceful nights. The owners were very prompt and responsive if we had any questions. The kitchen is fully stocked with materials needed and they provided bottled water for our stay. They also provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The bathroom fan/light is also a Bluetooth speaker so that was an added bonus! There is a washer and dryer with provided detergent and dryer sheets. We had no cell phone service in the area but the provided WiFi was reliable and fast. The house was very clean. A little tip for the microwave, you have to click the “door lock” button to open it when your food is done. We highly recommend booking this fun farmhouse!
