The Frisian house “Lüttje Huus an’t Diek,” built in 1900, is located right in the heart of the village of Upleward. It’s about 1 km to the dike and the North Sea, and it’s easy to get there by bike. Come on in to the Lüttje Huus! You’ll feel right at home! From the small entryway, you’ll enter the combined kitchen, living, and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped: for example, a fridge-freezer, a pod coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster, and a stove with a ceramic cooktop. At the dining table, surrounded by a cosy East Frisian sofa, you can enjoy your meals or spend pleasant evenings chatting. A wood-burning stove and the beautiful exposed beams create a cosy atmosphere. Next door is the bright bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet. A washing machine and dryer are available in a small utility room at the back of the house. The bedroom with a double bed invites you to dream and relax. There is also a cosy living room where you can spend cosy evenings. All rooms on the ground floor have exterior roller shades. There are a few small steps inside the house. A staircase leads to the attic, where you’ll find another sleeping area with two single beds and a cosy reading nook. The large covered terrace is perfect for breathing in the fresh North Sea air and relaxing. An outdoor wood-burning stove provides the necessary warmth. A charcoal grill is available. The view of the countryside is breathtaking. You can enjoy the sunsets from the beach chair. Bicycles you bring with you can be stored in the shed. A refrigerator located there ensures cold drinks on balmy summer evenings. Although the house does not have its own parking space, since it is located on a small cul-de-sac, you can easily park right in front of the front door. We ask that you bring your own bed linens and towels.<br>If you prefer more convenience, we’ll be happy to provide both upon prior arrangement:<br>Bed linens: €10.00 per set and towels: €5.00 per set<br>We’ll leave the ordered linens for you in a laundry bag at the property. The beds will not be made!<br>Payment is straightforward and is included with the tourist tax as part of the final payment.
