This small one-room apartment is surrounded by nature. Lovingly furnished, it’s the perfect place for two people to relax or set out to explore the surrounding area. The living area is currently heated by a stove. The bathroom has a heater. The Teutoburg Forest is very close by, and the R1 bike path runs right past the house.<br><br>The apartment is located in an annex to our home and is surrounded by woods and a garden with a stream (8,000 square metres), in the western part of Detmold—at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. You can walk directly into the woods from the house, and heading south, you can walk all the way to the Teutoburg Forest. <br><br>The apartment (28 square metres) features a double bed (160 x 200 cm), a kitchenette equipped with everything you need—including a two-burner induction cooktop and a small refrigerator—a small table with two chairs, and a wood-burning stove (wood included). There are a few board games in the closet. Next to the bathroom with a shower is a small storage closet with shelves and a clothes rod. Outside the door, there is a garden table with two chairs. <br><br>You can park your car right in front of the apartment.<br>A wallbox for charging electric cars is located in the garage.<br><br>We have a male cat. He will definitely make contact with our guests. Therefore, we unfortunately cannot accommodate people with severe cat allergies.<br><br>Yoga classes can be arranged upon request.<br><br>The R1 bike path runs past the house. It’s about 5 km to city centre Detmold. The nearest shopping area is 6 minutes by car, 15 minutes on foot, or 5 minutes by bike. Bus line 701 departs nearby towards city centre Detmold. Several restaurants are located nearby. <br><br>Detmold is home to the Landestheater and—highly recommended—the large open-air museum.
