Stay comfortably in rural Sardis at this 3-bedroom completely renovated cottage. Our location makes trips to Sardis Lake, Batesville, Oxford, Memphis metro as well as the MS Delta for your hunting excursions easy! Guests will find a lovely mix of sleeping options, including a king bed, queen bed, and twin beds, perfect for families or groups. The cottage features two bathrooms, each with a refreshing shower, convenient hair dryer and plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Starlink high speed Wi-Fi is available to guests. Smart TV in the primary bedroom and Roku TV in the living room as well as board games, cards, puzzles and books. Enjoy a cool breeze or cozy warmth thanks to the central air and heat. Light and bright in the living spaces, the bedrooms have blackout curtains, comfortable mattresses, and ceiling fans. The kitchen has new GE appliances and is stocked with utensils, pots and pans, dinnerware, and glassware. For the coffee/tea lover, there is also a Keurig K-Duo. If you have to work, there is a designated desk for that. A laundry room with washer, dryer and folding table is available on site. Outdoors, there's a roomy deck with furniture and a gas grill, an attached carport and plenty of room for your fishing boat. The yard is large enough to turn your boat around without having to back up. Also, there is an outlet under the carport for any charging needs you may have for your boat. I grew up here in Panola county MS in a family that was always hosting. It was always fun so I have continued to do that into my adult life. I look forward to hopefully having guests from different places.

Why they chose this property

This property is adjacent to our family farm that has been in my husband’s family for almost a century. We decided it would be nice to make it a part of our farm.

What makes this property unique

I believe being in the country can have a positive effect on anyone. It’s a peaceful place with easy access to some great destinations in northern Mississippi. You can relax before you head to the ballgame at Ole Miss or unwind after a day on Sardis Lake. Catch a great live theatrical performance just up the road at the Panola Playhouse. Walk the Batesville mounds where indigenous people lived hundreds of years ago, or try your luck at Tunica casinos. We are a short distance from Como that has great restaurants and Wild Safari, a fun drive through animal park. Also, the McIvor Shooting Facility can provide a great outing for marksmen. Not to mention all the attractions in Memphis, TN! So start in the quiet countryside then move on to your destination, Lynnwood Cottage is a great home base!
