Very enjoyable place to stay. The views were incredible. The weather was fantastic. We would stay again for sure. Very private and yet close enough to do some shopping. The beds were comfortable and sleeping was restful. July for 4 weeks, sure beats Houston heat and humidity.
The views were spectacular! Remote, lots of wildlife, overall a great place to stay for our family vacation.

Cabin big enough to fit family.
It was secluded and had views of the beautiful mountains. We took our 3 adult children and they all enjoyed their time. The cabin was well furnished with family games to keep us entertained. Would love to visit again in the future!

Beautiful Mountain View home!
Such a lovely, spacious home! So perfect for a girls weekend celebrating a 60th birthday! Drinking coffee on the wrap around porch every morning while looking at the mountains was awesome! We would all stay there again!

Beautiful home & location
Open floor plan, fireplace with fan and walls of windows.
We would definitely stay here again!! It had the most beautiful views!! Very secluded on top of a mountain. The house was clean and well stocked! Perfect view of the stars!
One of the nicest places we have ever stayed. The remote setting was perfect and the great home made our stay unforgettable. Thanks for sharing your home.
Location is great:

Beautiful!
We had a wonderful time here. The home is equipped with all the necessities. There are plenty of games, books, crayons, toys, puzzles, etc. to keep the kids busy. The views and balconies are incredible.
The property was INCREDIBLE. I would absolutely recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle since the road to the property is about 10 miles of VERY bumpy gravel roads. Definitely worth the drive if you aren’t coming and going often!
The house is well equipped for a family, just needs a little better non stick pans and a more thorough cleaning under the table and furniture. We went in winter time so a 4 wheel drive is needed for the 3 mile trek through the mountains to arrive at the very secluded house.

Amazing Views!
The cabin was beautiful, well decorated, comfortable, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The area is rather secluded, at the top of the mountain, and the view is incredible all around. My sons loved the fuse-ball table and the board games. We had a relaxing time viewing wildlife from the back porch, going on walks around the property, and watching a thunderstorm in the evening.
Lovely property, fantastic views, our only complaint is it was extremely warm ceiling fans would help or just provide osculating fans, yes it cools off at night like midnight.

Beautiful home with a view to match
Home was very clean. Lots of things for the kids to do. Beautiful view. Secluded. Lots of yard for the kids to play in. Washer and dryer worked great. Dishwasher worked great. There were plenty of paper towels.
Overall, we had a great stay! The house was beautiful and we loved the property around it. Only downside was that the fridge wasn’t working which really sucked with a 4 year old for storing snacks and drinks. We were only there Friday night to Sunday so they didn’t have the opportunity to get a repair guy out in time, but did bring over a cooler and ice Saturday to try to help! Only other critique was that there were an awful lot of family photos with kids in the home, not that that is a deal breaker for anyone or reflective of the house quality it was just a tiny bit weird compared to many homes we’ve stayed in.
This is a very nice home with all the amenities (except kleenex!). We met long time friends for four days of catching up and the house was perfect.
Our Google maps did not work driving in and the written directions are not accurate, so I would prepare for that!
We cooked all our meals there and the kitchen is very well equipped, but the digital readout on the oven is unreadable. Fortunately we guessed right!
You will love the views!!

We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your visit! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your valuable feedback with us. We passed your comments along to our local manager for review, and we appreciate guests’ preferences as a means to continually improve. We look forward to hosting your next stay!
Pros:
The house is nice and well supplied. The location was excellent with mountain views from all sides. There is a view of Pikes Peak from the deck. Exterior pictures on the listing did not reflect the beauty of this location. There was plenty of acreage to explore. We could have enjoyed our time without leaving the property.
Cons:
The drive was lengthy and the dirt road was rough in sections. If you close up the house during the day for an outing in the summer it can be warm inside when you return. Ceiling fans in rooms would be a nice touch. The house would cool off overnight with everything opened up.
Overall:
I would definitely stay here again. Any of the cons mentioned are 100% outweighed by the pros. It is a beautiful home and location.
Loved it, especially the kitchen and views. The grill was easy to use and made our fish dinner a success.Downsides:- the bedside lamp in one bedroom is missing the switch knob so cannot be turned off - unusable.- the outside door from one bedroom is missing the lock knob so cannot be opened - unusable.- one upstairs bedroom is missing blinds.- the dishwasher and laundry detergent supplied is not labeled so was not discovered before buying same.- the 10-digit electronic lock on the exterior door was difficult to use; I had to enter the combination 8 times to enable entry. - driving directions are imperfect. Once you've been there it's easy enough; getting there took us about an hour to find our way on the gravel roads. Please check the street names at the forks, give approximate distances to landmarks, etc. - The ceiling fan over the living area dropped dust on us while it was running at medium speed.Just a note: the upstairs bedrooms are quite warm at night. Fans are required, even with the windows open. All this seems negative, but those are the things that could make it perfect rather than very nice.

Randy, thank you for sharing your positive experience! We're so pleased you loved our home, especially the kitchen and views. We apologize for the issues that needed some attention and our local manager assured us that the lamp switch and blinds were repaired and they will assess and address the door lock. We enjoyed having you as our guest and hope to host you again soon.
Beautifully-furnished large, modern home! Master bedroom was very comfortable & had a huge bathroom with jacuzzi tub/separate walk-in shower. 2 upstairs bedrooms were nicely appointed & had comfy bedding. One of them had its own patio deck too. We loved the upstairs loft/library - puzzles, board games & telescope…so neat!! The kitchen had everything & more you need to prepare a full gourmet meal. Plenty of bedding is provided & there’s an extra twin mattress in case you have a little one who likes to sleep on the floor near mom and dad. The pantry had plenty of water bottles & food storage containers in case you’re planning a day trip. The home is about 40 min outside of the city which includes a Walmart Supercenter & restaurants. It was a really easy drive & went fast (there’s a nearby Alpaca Farm we really got a kick out of). We came in mid-March & had a light snow a few times. Kids had a blast walking around the property looking for antlers (we found 2 very large ones). Gas fireplace worked really well but did make the house get quite stuffy. Box fans helped a little & we left windows cranked open most nights even though it was low 20’s. I don’t believe there is A/C so this would be something to think about if visiting during warmer months. You’ll be fine any other time. Garage had lots of plastic sleds & gloves which we borrowed when we went sledding in Breckenridge. Pikes Peak & Garden of The Gods are a must-see while visiting!
