The building was constructed in the 11th century as a farmstead (farm building) for Babenberg Castle. It was later converted and expanded into a women’s convent of the Redemptorist Order. The convent consists of 20 residential units, some with private gardens. In 2022, it was decided to make some of the historically significant rooms accessible to a wider audience and to convert them into short-term rentals. As a result, the building now features a mix of previously rented residential units and short-term rental apartments. A communal garden is available for you to relax in. We hope you’ll feel at home in this historic setting. Ample free parking is available; bicycle parking is provided; and an electric vehicle charging station is located nearby. Apartments include bed linens and towels. The “Kirchturm Top P” apartment is located on the 1st floor and can be accessed via the main entrance through the communal garden. The apartment is approximately 46 m² and features an entryway, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, a kitchen with a dining area, a bedroom, and a living room. The bedroom features a double bed with storage, and the living room has a pull-out sofa for additional guests (max. 4 people), as well as a TV with Wi-Fi. The kitchen is equipped with basic appliances for preparing simple meals. Pets are not allowed in the apartment.A prepayment equal to the total price must be made at least 2 weeks before arrival. Once payment is received (no later than the day of arrival), you will receive the access code (via WhatsApp, text message, or email) for your booked apartment. The code is valid from 2:00 PM on the day of arrival until 10:00 AM on the day of departure. No pets allowed. A travel cot can be provided for a fee of EUR 10. Prices include VAT. Check-in: Access to your apartment is available starting at 2:00 PM. Departure: Please check out by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure at the latest. Contactless check-in and check-out using the access code. As of 01.01.2026, the overnight tax is 2.60 EUR per person per night.
