We rented this house to be there for the birth of our grandson. After traveling from Pittsburgh then being at the hospital all day, we just wanted to come to the house, relax and watch our local foootball team on TV. We were highly disappointed. There wasnt a comfortable place in the house to sit except the basement living area, but it was infested with wasps & knats. The beds were hard as a rock, except the one in the extra bedroom in the basement that was so worn out it felt like an air mattress.There's no cable service so we couldn't watch football or any local channels. The livinroom TV would only let you connect to your streaming channels if you had a Walmart account. You couldn't go outside because the grass was so high there were bugs everywhere. And lastly, there's no microwave to reheat any leftovers or in our case, make mac n cheese for our grandaughter when that was all she wanted to eat after a second day of being at the hospital all day. The only good things were: the coffee maker, fridge and stove. Also the shower head in the master suite was amazing.Phil was nice enough but I kinda thought he would fix the wasp, knat issue when I told him about it. My husband and I use VRBO often because we have kids living in Michigan & Ohio. Plus close family in Virginia.This was by far the worst rental we've ever stayed in.
