"Haus König" is a family-owned home and takes its unique name from my grandfather Adalbert König’s surname.
Since then, the house in the village of Kirchbach has been known as "Haus König."
It is a large, spacious home with three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and an additional half-bathroom.
Two bedrooms feature a cosy double bed, and each of these bedrooms has an en-suite full bathroom. The third bedroom has a bunk bed. This room also has an en-suite full bathroom with a shower, though it is accessed via a small hallway. A baby cot can be provided upon request.
The living-dining area features a high-quality new kitchen with an open dining area, as well as a spacious, renovated living room with a large panoramic window offering an unobstructed view of the beautiful mountains.
The house was renovated in 2024. Only two bathrooms remain in their original, good condition—featuring a charming vintage style.
You can park your vehicles directly in the driveway.
You can reach one of Austria’s largest ski resorts (Nassfeld) by bus (bus stop about 400 m away) or by car in about 10–15 minutes (valley station).
A beautifully landscaped, large golf course is located in the town two towns over (Waidegg).
Right in Kirchbach, you’ll find a heated outdoor pool, a supermarket, a bank, a pizzeria, medical care, a tourist information office, horseback riding, and much more.
The surrounding area is perfect for hiking in the mountains or along the gorge. Lake Pressegger can be reached in 20 minutes.
Lake Weissensee is located in the neighbouring valley and can be reached in about 45 minutes.
Both lakes are attractive destinations for day trips in both summer and winter (ice skating).
