About this property

Ferienhaus "dagerud" in Värmland -haustiere Willkommen!

Total relaxation from the stresses of everyday life is guaranteed here…
The holiday home:
With approximately 65 m² of living space, the “Dagerud” holiday home offers enough room for up to 8–9 people. The house was built around 1940 and is lovingly and idyllically furnished. The wood-burning stove (in the kitchen and living room) provides a very pleasant warmth. There is always plenty of firewood available in the outbuilding (shed).

The cosy living, dining, and kitchen areas, as well as the bathroom and hallway, are located on the ground floor. The bedrooms (1 single bed (105 cm) + 2 double beds (120 cm and 180 cm), as well as a sleeper sofa (for 2 people)) are located on the upper floor. Additionally, a separate mattress can be provided here for an extra guest. Another sofa bed (for 2 people) is located in the ground-floor living room.

Outdoor area:
The outdoor area features a covered terrace of approximately 15 m² with a stunning view of the forest, guaranteed sunshine, and comfortable outdoor furniture—perfect for relaxing. The approximately 121,000 m² forested property is ideal for leisurely hikes. There’s even a private stream on the property. Thanks to the mosquito trap (Mosquito Magnet by Pioneer) provided, most of the bothersome black flies (“knott”) and mosquitoes on the developed portion of the property (up to about 4,000 square metres) are caught. A large fire pit next to the house is available for a cosy evening by the fire. Three Linder aluminium canoes, including a caravan, paddles, and life jackets, are available for free use.

Location:
The holiday home is located about 2.5 km from Lake Älgsjön. It’s a true paradise for anglers, as the lake is highly sought after for pike and perch. The nearest supermarket and petrol station are about 9 km away. The nearest town (Arvika) is about 25 km away. The house is accessible only via a private road. The nearest “stuga” is about 600 m from the house. Absolute peace and quiet is therefore guaranteed here!

Optionally available:
You can optionally book a fishing licence and ice fishing sets (for 2 or 3 people). We’d be happy to help you organise guided tours (e.g., moose tours, Northern Lights tours, etc.) or a scenic flight over Arvika. If you’d like to use a boat, it’s available for you at the dock near House 1 and House 2, approximately 3.5 km away. To explore the surrounding area, 2 ATVs (Segway Snarler 600 GS-N with 45 PS) are also available as an option.

Included in the price:
Final cleaning is included. Water, electricity, and sewage are included in the rental price. Dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, laundry detergent, fabric softener, toilet paper, etc., are always restocked by us. Wi-Fi can be booked as an option.

Pets are warmly welcome here at “Dagerud.”

Feel free to also check out House 1 (Stora älg) or House 2 (Lilla älg). Since these houses are also rented to people with allergies, pets are unfortunately not allowed there.

Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.
