The property itself was great, with a wonderful location, a lovely balcony, and an elevator we appreciated. Unfortunately, lack of bedding/linens for the pull out sofa and very poor communication from management significantly affected our short stay.We explained well in advance that my dad, who is in his 70s and has trouble sleeping, would be using the pullout couch/sofa bed. Yet there wasn’t a single extra blanket or pillow anywhere in the unit. I raised this at check-in, and the next day we were simply told to keep looking, with no further follow-up. My dad ended up sleeping on a rock-hard couch with stiff decorative pillows and his own sweatshirt and coat to keep warm.Communication was frustrating from the beginning. After weeks without a response following our booking, I had to involve VRBO support just to get management to acknowledge us. Hosts said they don't really use the platform and provided phone numbers to use in the feature but once we were in Poland we realized they weren’t available on WhatsApp, leaving the platform as our only way to reach them. We also received no checkout instructions, and when we asked the night before departure, we received a response after we had already left. The balcony was lovely, but there were no chairs to enjoy it. While the property has plenty of positives, watching my dad struggle without basic bedding and feeling we had no meaningful assistance left us extremely frustrated and dampened our overall experience.
