Nessmersiel is a paradise for mudflat hikers. Most mudflat hikes to the island of Baltrum start from here. Hiking across the seabed—for many people, this is an unforgettable experience. Boats depart daily from the ferry terminal to the island of Baltrum, the national park, and the seal colonies.
Bicycle paths along the coast and through green meadows offer the opportunity to explore everything by bike.
