A comfortable, well-equipped thatched-roof cottage (single-family home) in a beautiful setting between the Baltic Sea and the Bodden, surrounded by hills, endless white-sand beaches, and sleepy fishing villages; a quiet location, separated only by a new landscape park 400 metres from the coast and the beach. It can accommodate 6 adults and 1 infant. In the garden, which features a 40-square-meter patio, there is a table with 6 chairs, a beach chair, two lounge chairs, and a garden fireplace for barbecuing. In the garden of your house, you’ll find a wagon. There’s also parking for 2 cars. The house is beautifully furnished in a country style and features a fireplace, underfloor heating, two satellite TVs, a DVD player, an iPhone stereo, a dishwasher, a hair dryer, a washing machine, Wi-Fi, a microwave, a fully automatic espresso machine, and a fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary appliances. The ground floor features a spacious living/dining area with an open kitchen, a living room, a bathroom with a shower, a sauna, and a toilet. Upstairs there are three bedrooms—two with double beds, one with two single beds—and a bathroom with a toilet, shower, and bathtub.


At the ports of Glowe, boat trips are available, and smaller motorboats can be rented. Depending on the season and weather conditions, you can mainly catch cod in the fishing zone, but it’s also possible to catch Baltic salmon or sea trout.

If you enjoy fishing in inland waters, the Great Jasmund offers the best conditions just a short distance (1 km) away. You can fish for eel and flounder from a boat or, from the shore, for perch and pike. Fishing licences are available at the port of Glowe.

Schaab is a natural paradise of a special kind. On the eastern side of Schaab lies a beautiful Baltic Sea beach, which is one of the most beautiful beaches on Rügen. An 8-kilometer-long bay (with a separate dog-friendly and nude beach) begins in Glowe and officially invites you to relax. For your children, there are plenty of shallow and safe areas right before your eyes.

In Glowe, you can learn right on the beach; the Glowe Sailing School offers courses in competitive sailing, windsurfing, and catamaran sailing. Here you can also go water skiing, take a banana boat ride, rent a pedal boat, and rent a kayak.

In addition to the surf and sailing shops in Sellin, Göhren, and Glowe on Rügen, Martin offers instruction in sailing, surfing, and catamaran sailing. Of course, rentals of boats, catamarans, and surfing equipment are available.

Glowe Boat Rentals offers trips and fishing excursions for groups of up to 6 people. If you need a boat, you can apply for a boat rental permit. Guided tours are also available.

Four clubs on the island offer tennis on both outdoor and indoor courts; Samtens, in particular, is very popular. The “Jasmundtherme” in Neddesitz has parking. There is regular bus service from Glowe to Neddesitz.
