A Four-Season Moose Lake Retreat — Built for Lake Life, Ice Fishing & Adventure
Welcome to your year-round escape on the shores of Moose Lake, just minutes from Bonnyville. Whether you’re coming to ice fish, hit the trails by sled or side-by-side, spend a summer week on the water, or simply get away with family and friends, this fully renovated lakefront home gives you the space—and the amenities—to make the most of every season.
And bring the toys. One of the property’s best features is the oversized heated garage, providing secure, warm storage for snowmobiles, side-by-sides, ATVs, fishing equipment, a boat and all the gear that comes with a real Alberta adventure.
WINTER AT MOOSE LAKE
Winter may just be our favourite season here.
Moose Lake offers a fantastic home base for an ice-fishing getaway, with the convenience of staying right on the lake. Spend the day fishing and exploring, then come home to a warm, comfortable house and relax.
For snowmobilers and trail riders, the area offers access to miles and miles of recreational trails, including routes along the old railway corridor (Iron Horse trail) and throughout the Lakeland region. Head out for a day of riding, then bring your machines back to the property and store them securely in the oversized heated garage.
No unloading your gear into a cold shed. No leaving expensive machines sitting outside overnight.
The garage gives your group room for machines, helmets, suits, fishing gear and all the equipment that usually makes a winter trip complicated.
Winter highlights include:
• Lakefront location for winter and ice-fishing adventures
• Excellent access to snowmobile and recreational trails • Side-by-side and ATV riding opportunities throughout the area • Oversized heated garage for machines, equipment and gear • Secure storage for your recreational toys • Comfortable accommodation for up to 8 guests • Three full bathrooms—especially appreciated with a larger group • Only about 5 minutes from Bonnyville for groceries, restaurants and supplies
Whether it’s a guys’ ice-fishing weekend, a sledding trip, a family winter getaway or a few days exploring the Lakeland, this is a place where you can bring the equipment and actually have somewhere to put it.
SUMMER ON THE LAKE
When the ice disappears, the property becomes an entirely different kind of playground.
Located directly on Moose Lake and facing west across the water, the home is made for long summer evenings, beautiful sunsets and days spent outside.
Bring the boat, waterskis, paddleboards and fishing rods and settle into lake life.
With a private dock/boat access, you’ll be able to enjoy the water right from the property, while the oversized garage provides secure storage for your boat, water toys and equipment when you’re not using them.
Moose Lake is a wonderful recreational lake for families who want to get out on the water without the feeling of being at an overcrowded resort.
Spend the morning fishing, the afternoon boating or waterskiing, and the evening relaxing by the lake as the sun sets across the water.
Summer highlights include:
• Direct Moose Lake waterfront • West-facing lake views and evening sunsets • Boating and waterskiing • Fishing • Paddleboarding and other water activities • Large heated garage with secure boat and equipment storage • Nearby golf • Vezeau Beach and boat launch nearby • Bonnyville approximately 5 minutes away
THE HOUSE
The home has been completely renovated to create a comfortable, fresh place for families and groups to gather after a day outside.
There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, with sleeping for up to 8 guests.
One bedroom includes two bunk beds, making it especially well suited to families, groups of friends and recreational weekends.
Three bathrooms also mean you’re not trying to get eight people ready for the lake—or bundled up for an early morning fishing trip—with everyone sharing one bathroom.
The house offers plenty of space to come together while still giving guests room to spread out.
BRING THE BOAT. BRING THE SLEDS. BRING THE SIDE-BY-SIDES.
This isn’t a lake property where you have to leave the fun at home.
We’ve intentionally set it up for people who love being outside and want to bring their recreational equipment with them.
Boat in the summer.
Side-by-side or ATV for the trails.
Snowmobiles and fishing equipment in the winter.
The oversized heated garage is one of the features that makes this property different from a typical vacation rental. It gives you a secure place for the equipment you’ve invested in and a warm place to organize your gear before heading out.
CLOSE TO EVERYTHING — WITHOUT FEELING LIKE YOU’RE IN TOWN
Although you’re staying directly on Moose Lake, you’re only approximately five minutes from Bonnyville.
That means it’s easy to pick up groceries, fuel, fishing supplies or something you forgot without losing half a day of your vacation.
Golf, Vezeau Beach and additional boat-launch access are also nearby.
You get the feeling of escaping to the lake without giving up the conveniences of town.
A DIFFERENT GETAWAY FOR EVERY Spring: fishing, ATV and side-by-side adventures and quieter weekends at the lake.
Summer: boating, waterskiing, swimming, fishing, paddleboarding and sunsets over Moose Lake.
