Good vacation home!!

The home was beautiful, spacious and clean! We enjoyed our stay & very thankful for hosting us. Made them aware of a small kitchen leak but easy fix and they were on it with fixing the problem! One suggestion would be to bring cooking pots if you will be cooking, the ones at the house were pretty scratched up & a bit rough for our liking but I’m sure they will also keep that in mind. Others were right about mosquitos, so many and they are huge. We couldn’t be outside unfortunately. Overall, this home was beautiful & we Loved our stay!!

Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review—we’re thrilled to hear you found the home beautiful, spacious, and clean, and that you had such an enjoyable stay! We really appreciate you letting us know about the kitchen leak and are glad our team could respond quickly to take care of it. Your feedback about the cookware is also very helpful—we understand how important quality kitchen items are, especially for guests who enjoy cooking, and we’ll be reviewing those for possible updates. We’re sorry the mosquitoes impacted your ability to enjoy the outdoor spaces. While this can be common in the area, we understand how frustrating it can be and appreciate you calling it out for future guests to plan accordingly. Thank you again for your kind words and helpful suggestions. We’re so glad you loved your stay and would be delighted to host you again!

Great house on a quiet street.

It's out of the way but still close enough to go to the beach. You do have to drive to the beach though, rent a golf cart!!

Beautiful home

Beautiful home and very spacious! Perfect room for the kids with the 4 bunks... and the other rooms were awesome for our adults! Plenty of seating space in the kitchen and living room.... or even on the deck! I'd definitely stay again!

New build built in style

We loved this house! We’ve stayed in this location before and love the beach access close by. The number of rooms, variety of bedding made it great for two families. Lots of bathrooms and the kitchen is well appointed. Loves the outdoor patios as well. The only complaint is that there are lots of bugs inside and out due to newer location. And we would have liked more K cups for coffee (just provided 1 for. 3 nights stay). Otherwise this house was ideal and a fantastic vacation.

6/10 Okay

Just ok

I loved that the beach is only about 1/2 mile away and you can drive up onto the beach, and that it was outside of town. I would have loved to have had access to the pool in the community area, but it was only for owners, even though the whole week we were there, we never saw a single person in it. I also wish we could have walked out on the dock you could see from the back deck, but again, only owners in the area have access and we never anyone out there.

Love the view

We had a great stay and the home was perfect for my family of 6. I recommend to any others. The only downside was thermostat had security code and we could not heat the home. It was set on cool. It took about 5 hours to get resolution. After that everything was great. I grew up with home in Jamaica Beach and the view of Jumbile and Bird Island cove brought back so many memories.

Filthy house

The house itself is fine, but it was completely dirty upon our arrival. There was hair in the master shower, the floors didn’t look like they were vacuumed, clumps of hair on the white sofa, little black bugs in the bathroom sink, and two roach traps on the kitchen counter. On top of that, the guest towels were paper thin. The master bath was only provided one wash cloth, and no hand towels. We left one day early due to the state of the house. Unfortunately, Vacasa was not helpful.

Ehhh

The house was great! Vacasa not so much. The trash bins were locked in the garage from weeks prior and smelled horrible! Maggots coming put of the top of the can! I called vacasa and emailed at least 10 times. They finally came out and moved the trash to the road. Which in turn made the neighbors so mad he came over and cussed at us for the trash being at the road and birds dragging it out everywhere. I spent 4 of my 7 day vacation dealing with this. Not happy about that at all. They didn't even seem to care. Very disappointing. Again, the house was nice, great views of the bay!

Shea, we're pleased you loved our home but apologize for the issues you experienced that detracted from your stay. We always want to provide our guests with relaxing and stress-free getaways and we are so sorry this was not the case for you. Unfortunately, when the prior guest left the trash in the garage, our local team was not able to access it. They did try to remedy this by re-bagging some of the trash and hauling it away, but unfortunately, a quick pick-up by the city for the rest of it could not be scheduled. We are truly sorry for your disappointment and hope you will give us another chance to better impress you with our service in the future.
