Our holiday home, "Hanni's Lindenhäusl," offers approximately 95 m² of living space and is surrounded by a garden of about 400 m². It is located on a quiet cul-de-sac and has a parking space right in front of the front door. The location is ideal for sunny walks in Schönau am Königssee. Wi-Fi is available. Enjoy the view of the Göll, the Brett, the Jenner, and the Kehlsteinhaus.
Our holiday home offers two cosy bedrooms in the basement, each sleeping two people. You’ll also find a bathroom with a bathtub and toilet, as well as a convenient laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. On the ground floor, a living room, another bathroom with a shower and toilet, a fully equipped kitchen, and a charming dining room in the sunroom invite you to relax. An additional storage room is available for safely storing your ski, hiking, and sports equipment. Underfloor heating in all rooms ensures cosy warmth. The Swedish stove is intended solely for decorative purposes. Please understand that pets are not allowed in our holiday home.
In 1926, my great-grandparents, Marie and Max Ziener, moved here to Schönau am Königssee with my grandfather, Rudolf, from the Ore Mountains to the neighbouring house “Mooslehen-Klause.” There, they ran a guesthouse offering full board. A “Lindenhäusl” already stood on this property back then. The original “Lindenhäusl” stood right here, where you are now. If you look around outside, you’ll surely see why the Lindenhäusl is called “Lindenhäusl.” It stands beneath a linden tree that is a protected natural monument and is estimated to be about 600 years old. Not even a lightning strike could topple this linden tree; it merely hollowed out the trunk a bit. (It was a great hiding spot when I was a kid!) Even back then, newlyweds loved to spend their honeymoons at the “Lindenhäusl.” It was very simply furnished—one room with a sink, a corner bench, two single beds, a closet, and a small stove.
