• Cycling: The famous Maare-Mosel Bike Trail is ideal for leisurely riders. You’ll cycle at a relaxed pace along former railway tracks through the countryside all the way down to the Moselle.

• Motorsports Action: Thanks to its proximity to the legendary Nürburgring, adrenaline junkies will also get their money’s worth—whether as spectators at thrilling races or taking a drive of their own on the Nordschleife.

After an eventful day, you can unwind in your apartment or enjoy a cosy evening on the terrace. 
The Daun municipal association charges a guest fee (formerly the visitor’s tax) of 2.10 EUR per night for guests 18 years of age and older.
The guest fee is already included in the total price. You’ll receive your guest card, along with the associated services and benefits, digitally or directly at the accommodation upon arrival.

The municipality of Daun charges a guest fee (formerly known as the “Kurtaxe”) of 2.10 EUR per night for guests 18 years of age and older.
The guest fee is already included in the total price. You will receive your guest card, along with the associated services and benefits, digitally or directly at the accommodation upon arrival.
An important note regarding your stay: We want you to feel completely at home here. Please note that the traditional Gillenfelder Kirmes takes place in town on the first weekend in July. Since this is a popular, centrally located event, there may be increased background noise on those days.

The holiday apartment features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a cosy open-concept living area, and a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment is stylishly furnished and offers a cosy atmosphere that invites you to relax.
After an eventful day, you can take a refreshing dip in the Pulvermaar, relax on the terrace, and use the grill to enjoy convivial evenings. We cordially invite you to spend your holiday in our apartment in Gillenfeld and discover the diversity of this unique region. Enjoy unforgettable moments surrounded by nature and experience the hospitality of the Vulkaneifel.



On-site costs: We look forward to welcoming you as guests in our holiday rental! Please note the following terms and conditions for your booking: • Included services: The rental price already includes final cleaning, Wi-Fi, bed linens, and towels, as well as all electricity, heating, and water costs. Use of the car park is also free of charge for you. • Holiday with a dog: Your faithful companion is very welcome here! We charge a fee of €9 per night for bringing a dog. Please specify the dog directly when booking and add it as an extra service. If you forget to include the dog in your booking, you can still register and pay for it on-site. • Note regarding the visitor’s tax for the Daun Municipal Association (as of 01.06.2026): Please note that, as of 01.06.2026, the Daun Municipal Association has introduced an official visitor’s tax of 2.10 € per night and person. • For bookings on or after 01.06.2026:: For these bookings, the guest tax is already factored into and included in the total price displayed. • For bookings before 01.06.2026:: You are exempt from the guest tax requirement (not included in the price). If you would still like to take advantage of the numerous benefits and discounts offered by the official guest card, you may pay the guest tax voluntarily. Just let us know, and we’ll issue you the guest card. In this case, the fee must be paid separately.
