The location of this apartment is unbeatable — right on the waterfront (Bem rakpart) with a great view and easy access to the city center. The flat itself is spacious, with two rooms and high ceilings, and it was comfortably warm during our winter stay.
Unfortunately, the positives end there. The cleanliness was far below any acceptable standard. Within 5 minutes of walking inside, our socks were black from the dirty floors. The dishes were covered in dust, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, and the towels provided were dirty. The walls were covered in stains, and the apartment clearly needs a cosmetic renovation.
The place lacked basic essentials: there was no doormat (which made it impossible to keep the dirt from spreading), no salt or oil in the kitchen, and the frying pan was in terrible condition. Even more frustrating, there were no cleaning supplies — no broom, no trash bags, and no bags for the vacuum cleaner, so we couldn't even tidy up ourselves.
To top it off, communication was awful. The host never replied to our question about where to dispose of the trash. Compared to all our previous stays, this was a very poor experience. We wouldn't stay here again unless serious changes are made.
