Hi Stacy! Thank you for the feedback; it seems necessary that I clear up a few important details that you misrepresented or omitted - so that our future guests get a clearer picture. 1. I'm very sorry you had any issue with noisy storm shutters, however, you never mentioned to us - we would have been more than happy to address it promptly! That week was abnormally windy. 2. Only one bedroom (not 2) had any issue with the AC, and it was rectified promptly the following morning. I'm not sure how we could have done any better than that! 3. We don't list pool toys or beach chairs in the amenity list, as we don't provide them, but when guests leave some behind, we generally don't throw them away in case the next guest would like to use them. The outdoor furniture is made of teak, and is meant to look distressed (when they are not varnished, which doesn't last in this environment)...all the furniture is in perfect working order! Again, had you mentioned these items, I would have been happy to address them - We aim to please!

Hi Cody, I don’t think this review is at all fair. Regarding towels, for example, there are plenty in the linen closet downstairs. Your other guests knew about them - they were shown during your orientation but you were upstairs…so this was not actually an issue for anyone in your party. I spoke with you and your wife several times during your stay, yet literally not one of these items was ever mentioned to me or any of the other staff, which leads me to believe that most of these “issues” weren’t actually issues at all -or you would have said something rather than leaving a poor review without ever saying a word, even though we communicated frequently. We are replacing the sofa - a beautiful new sofa is on order but sadly has not arrived yet. Additionally, the minor issues you encountered at your arrival were 100% rectified promptly - and in the spirit of great customer service, we refunded you several hundred dollars for the inconvenience - but somehow you didn’t mention any of that in your review - only a negative, one-sided story.- even though your wife texted me on your second day stating that “every thing was great!” I’m very sorry you weren’t 100% satisfied - had we known about the items you never mentioned to us, perhaps we could have achieved a great review and you would have been 100% satisfied. Quite perplexing!

Hi Greg, We regret that you think that Villa Harmony was only worth a 2 star rating. We understand that the excessive power outages were very inconvenient - and I must stress that that situation is not the norm here. The Dept. of Energy has stepped in and the issue causing the long outages has been corrected. The generator has not been broken "for years." It had a catastrophic failure about 6 months ago: I removed it from the amenities list immediately. We are in the process of arranging a new unit to be installed, but these things take time as the equipment must be shipped from the states. We expect it to be rectified very soon! Re: sleeping on the sofa: I wish you would have let us know- there is inflatable mattress so that extra guests do not have to sleep on the couches. Re: the taxi recommendation, I have never heard of any woman answering that phone, but I do sincerely apologize if someone was rude to you - we have never had one issue in the over 15 years we have worked with the company! Nonetheless, it is important to note that we sent you a link so you can see all of the standardized taxi rates. I believe you are comparing apples and oranges because luggage is extra, Saying that other companies were 1/2 as much, when comparing their pricing (without luggage) to your airport transfer with luggage isn't fair. We wouldn't use them if that was the case, I assure you. I'm sincerely sorry you didn't enjoy your stay more and would love to make it up to you in the future!
