My husband and I have had this property for about 30 years. Since my husband's family had lived in Kailua for many years during their high school years and had many fond memories of the island, we wanted to be able to bring our own family back to Kailua and create our own family memories. About 8 years ago, we decided to open our home to other vacationing families who have been able to enjoy many happy days as a family here. We hope that you find our place as comfortable for your family as we do for ours!

Why chose Kailua
What makes this Cottage unique
Being located a short walk from Kailua Beach means that you can go back and forth to the beach all day without loading and unloading everything into and out of the car. I love being able to pick up my latte at the Kalapawai Market before my beach stroll, and we have a family ritual of shave ice every afternoon from Island Snow (President Obama's favorite before-dinner snack with his kids!)
