A warm welcome to our comfortable holiday apartments in a renovated half-timbered house in Ilsenburg in the Harz Mountains. The Nexö holiday home is located directly on the Ilse River and near the Ilsestein, in one of the most beautiful valleys of the Harz—the Ilse Valley. The wild and romantic landscape of the Harz National Park begins right at the doorstep. The holiday apartment features a living room with a dining area, a sofa, and access to the balcony, offering views of the Harz countryside. The bedroom sleeps up to 2 people. The holiday rental also features a bathroom with a shower and toilet, as well as a small kitchenette. The well-developed network of hiking trails leads you directly from the front door to many natural attractions—past cosy mountain inns—all the way to the highest mountain in northern Germany. A wide variety of recreational activities are within walking distance of the holiday homes: a water playground, a Kneipp facility, a climbing forest, a disc golf course, and the Ilsenburg National Park Visitor Centre.
The historic town of Wernigerode, with its town hall and castle, is just a few minutes’ drive away. Bad Harzburg, with its treetop trail and saltwater spa; Thale, with the Hexentanzplatz and Roßtrappe; and many other excursion options invite you to explore the surrounding area.
