Named after the whimsical Gecko sculptures that adorn the homes exterior walls, the private villa offers quality and timeless style with beautiful ocean, city lights, and mountain views.

Magnificently landscaped, this home features 2200 square feet of tropical terraces with natural rocks and flowering gardens. Enjoy the sun, tropical shade or the refreshing private pool on one of this homes many hillside terraces. The pool is located at the highest terrace with breathtaking views for miles. You may also enjoy the homes private desert arroyo area with a giant shade 'palapa', sand and lots of room for sunning.

The home features an open multi level main floor with living room, kitchen and dining room flowing together onto a balcony with all the views. With travertine and marble floors, new furnishings throughout include luxurious bedding and exotic linens. Bathrooms are all natural stone, well appointed, and artfully designed. This home comes completely furnished and ready for your enjoyable vacation memories.

In addition to all of the traditional and expected amenities, guests have access to Super Fast Wireless Fiber Optic Internet, WIFi, as well as streaming internet 5 Flat Screen Digital TV's , NetFlix, Bluetooth Stereo, and local telephone.

Wonderful House

We were two families of 4 with teens staying at Villa losGeckos. The layout was perfect for our group and everyone had enough space to either relax on their own or gather together as a larger group. The house is well maintained and has beautiful views of the marina and downtown Cabo. Easy walk to downtown but far enough away to feel peaceful. Would stay again.

The house was perfect for...

The house was perfect for our adult group of 8! The bathrooms were gorgeous, the bedrooms were roomy, and the terraces were private. We would walk to town for dinner and shopping, but would often take a cab home, (which was not too expensive)We had no complaints!!!! We would stay again!

Great Stay at the Villa

The owner, Joel, is terrific! He was always available by phone at the last minute (I missplaced the entry code). The Villa is amazing and you need to set up a dinner with Reynaldo, the chef with Chef Services as part of the stay. Don't pass on this place if it is available to book!

Great spot! 30 minute walk to all the fun stuff. Had a bachelor party and comfortably fit 9 of us. The villa was centrally located and close to everything. Oh, and what a view! Thanks Joel!

The property is exactly as listed. We had 3 couples and had plenty of room. Walking to town down a hill is fine but we took a taxi back up to get home. The owner was very quick to fix issues. We never got the satellite to work but that was not a big deal. We felt safe during our stay.

Beautiful Oasis

My friends and I went for a bachelor party and stayed at the Waldorf next door then jumped over here for the remainder of the trip. The owner was very responsive to my abundance of questions. He also had great suggestions for airport shuttle, at-home chef, and other miscellaneous activities. The house is supplied with everything you need and is located in a very nice gated community overlooking downtown Cabo. Not one bad complaint!

Stairs!!

Great Villa..lots of room!! The villa was clean and everything worked as it should. It was an easy walk into town. My only caution is to anyone that has a physical handicap...this villa is on a hillside and you must walk up/down stairs to every room (four steps from kitchen to living room - those are the easy ones). The view from the pool is spectacular!

So fun!

The property was exactly like described and my friends and I had an amazing time. We went for my bachelorette and all felt safe the entire time. The neighborhood is gorgeous and the bathrooms were insane! We did have a bit of trouble with the phones and calling taxis so we had to walk down to order them, however that was the only issue we ran into. The chef was an amazing touch and we’re so glad we took advantage of that opportunity! Definitely worth checking this place out when you go to Cabo!

Had some issues outside of host control like a water heater that decided to stop working on day 1 or an internet router that reached end of life. The host was incredibly communicative and responsive. Had a new water heater within a couple hours of discovering the issue. Did not have the same timeframe for router. House served purposes well.

Great Stay At Villa Gecko!

Absolutely wonderful home that served us so well. We (7 of us) enjoyed staying there. The location is perfect and completely walkable into downtown. (The walk back is uphill but if you are in average shape it’s no problem!). We also had a chef cook in the house a few nights and that worked out perfectly too. The only thing that was a bit disappointing is that the pool was in the shade and (at least in January) the water was too cold to go in. The pool/chaise area is very separate from the house (but the views are killer!) so we really did not get to use that area. There is a nice little balcony area off the dining area that was great for hanging out. We ventured to the private Pedregal beach (a long walk but a beautiful one) and it was spectacular. Joel was responsive with our questions and answered promptly. Everything in the house was as it was presented.

Great, Convenient Location

My wife and I stayed at Los Geckos for nine nights. Although we rented a car, the location is within easy walking distance to the marina, shops and restaurants. The house is big, clean, comfortable and has Wifi - a huge plus since we wanted to stay in touch with family. Joel was easy to work with and gave us pointers and tips on several items. There are two separate sun decks and a separate pool deck. Plus, there are several other outdoor areas for all to enjoy. From a privacy standpoint, we'd rate Los Geckos an 8 out of 10. For Pedregal, that's a great number since many homes are right next to each other. From a sun factor, we'd rate the location a 7 out of 10. The sun hit the deck by 8:30 in the morning but was behind the house and hill located behind the house by 2:00. We figured the summer months would get more direct sunlight and this would probably bump the rating up to a 9 or 10. If you are looking for a great rental in popular Cabo San Lucas, this is a very strong contender. We would definitely rent this villa again.

New Years Stay 2023

We recently stayed at Villa Los Geckos. The property was as advertised and we did the chef service for breakfast and dinner which was great and I would highly recommend. However, on our second to last night staying in the Villa someone broke into the house and stole all of the cash we had as well as 5 pair of AirPods and a nice jacket. When we noticed the next morning we immediately contacted Joel who said he contacted security and the police. We waited for the police/property manger to arrive, but after 2 hours we no longer felt safe and decided to leave the property and go to a hotel for the remainder of our time in Cabo. In doing so, we did not file a police report which is needed to recoup any lost items. Pedegral is a gated community and security claimed there were no abnormalities other than the cabs we ourselves had called and that nothing unusual happened on the hourly security checks, but we cannot deny the fact that all of the cash was gone and every persons AirPods were tracked miles away to a part of Cabo we had never been. They are suppose to check peoples IDs when going in and out of Pedegral, however the only time we saw this being done was on the last cab we took out. We did ask for a refund on the night we did not stay there. Joel agreed to work with us to get Vrbo to pay for the hotel night, but not the night on the actual property. If staying here, I would recommend to not call cabs directly to the house.

BEST EXPERIENCE AND HOST

We booked this house for a bachelorette party and I have to say it’s by far been the best property rental experience I’ve ever had. For starters, Joel, the host was very communicative & went above and beyond to provide us with amazing customer service. I had lots of questions for him leading up to our stay in regards to COVID testing, a home chef, things to do around the area and he went out of his way to help organize everything. It made this trip and experience so incredible and allowed us to fully enjoy our time. The house is so beautiful and spacious and beyond clean. The beds were comfortable and all the rooms a lot a lot of natural light. The views were amazing and overlooked the whole city. We felt extremely safe having security check us in an out of the community. Joel was also super helpful and answered each of my questions within a matter of minutes in regards to how to get a taxi service and never seemed annoyed with all the obvious questions. I HIGHLY recommend staying here and will definitely be back!

Great house and location

Can't find much to improve with this house. What makes the experience well worth it is working with Joel on our stay. Traveling with covid can be stressful and changes are always happening, however for us Joel was super flexible and understanding of our situation. Super cool host which making coming back an easy decision.

Stay at Villa de Los Gekkos

House and grounds were very nice. Services by private chef Lupita and her staff were outstanding. Had a couple of issues. Had trouble reaching the security gate from the house phone. Had a neighbor who was less then pleasant and difficult. Complained if transportation parked for more then 2 minutes and had construction workers jack hammering rock at 7 am over 2 days. Hopefully, that is a temporary issue.
