Roads end Getaway offers a spacious open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, large windows for ocean and whale watching, Ping Pong and foosball. Big master bedroom with large jetted tub. Second Bedroom/ loft sleeps five. Spacious & fully equipped kitchen.
Relax in the Living room watching the tides roll in, or hang out in family room watching TV on the big screen. Located one house in from ocean front. Short walk to beach access. Wonderful family vacation home, romantic getaway or get together with friends. Take a short walk South to Chinook Winds, or head North on beautiful sandy beaches towards Cascade Head.

Beautiful Ocean view

My kids, husband and I had the best experience during our stay. From ping pong, foosball, close beach access, and jetted tub; my kids never complained of being bored. Our stay was during memorial weekend. We even got so lucky to watch fireworks over the ocean from the incredible view we had in the dining area. Definitely recommend this property- the host was great and easy to work with as well!

Perfect location

The location of this home is beautiful, but the interior seemed aged and like it could use a deep cleaning. I tried to use the jetted tub, but once I turned it on, it spit out hairballs which grossed me out. On the checkout instructions it instructed to remove the sheets, but leave the blankets on the bed, which left us a little concerned if the blankets were washed between each stay …Overall, we would probably choose to stay here again.

Exquisite beach getaway

This Lincoln City beach house surpassed all expectations. The large master bedroom provided a peaceful retreat, and the stunning sunset view was a dream come true. The short walk to the beach made it easy to enjoy strolls along the shore and the ping pong table was a nice addition. Every moment at this charming beach house was a true delight, and we can't wait to return for another unforgettable getaway!

The house was exactly as described and very clean. We were comfortable during our stay. The only thing I would have wished is that the property came with more kid friendly items like a few toys, a high chair etc. Other than that, we were satisfied with our stay.

We'll keep coming back!

This was our second stay at this house, and it has only gotten better. Owners have clear communication, everything is clean and easy to find, the view from the front wall of windows is incredible, and you can see the state park beach from one side window -- it is within walking distance. There were enough spaces for everyone in our four-person party to rest and recharge and to gather for a board game or puzzle in the evening. Since our last stay the fridge, couch, and televisions have been upgraded, and we enjoyed them all! Thanks for another great Lincoln City vacation!

Loved this unique house!

We really enjoyed our stay here, and loved the uniqueness of the house! The house had everything we needed, but please put more pillows on the beds! A welcome book would have been nice to direct us the right direction of beach access, but we figured it out either way! Thank you for opening your home to my family for our family vacation!! We look forward to either getting a ping pong table or coming back to defeat the reigning champion that was crowned at your home!

Cozy home but misleading description

This cozy home has beautiful views from kitchen, dining and living area. Walking distance to beach. Kids enjoyed playing foosball and ping-pong in the garage. We rented the house assuming it was three bedroom as mentioned in the description. However it has one master bedroom and one loft/room on another floor with 2 single and 1 double/queen bed. The beds were comfortable and plenty of pillows and duvets. I wouldn't necessarily blame the owners but when we checked in the kitchen smelled of fish, looks like there was some trash that hadn't been taken out by the previous travelers. Also the washing machine had a load of dirty kitchen towels which we ended washing. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the misleading description, smelly trash and dirty towels.

This house was perfect for our family of 5. Plenty of room and beautiful views. The pictures do not do it justice! The views are so amazing in person. House was very clean, beds were comfortable and had everything you need if you want to cook.We loved the game room in the garage. Lots of deer, so that was very neat to see every morning and evening. Very short walk to the beach. Perfect place to stay if you want to explore the coast! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

We are John and Cindy from Sherwood OR. We are newly empty nesters with three grown children. Our last one is finishing college at Linfield. We've spent the last two decades watching our children play about every sport in high school and college. We do miss it, but we now have more time to vacation. John is still working getting closer to retirement each year, but its still in the horizon. We love to getaway even if its a day and drive to the beach.

Why they chose this property

Our first consideration in purchasing a beach home was to find one close to our home in Sherwood. Next we wanted to find one at Roads End because we love it there whether we are taking long walks along the beach or playing poker at Chinook Winds. It was our number one favorite destination. We chose this house for the beautiful open design, ocean views and proximity to everything we love to do.

What makes this property unique

All homes in Roads End are unique because of the location. What we loved about this home was the unique craftsmenship and open and spacious floor plan with vaulted ceilings. It also has plenty of large windows for ocean/whale watching.
